"This place is a disgrace honestly. My boyfriend was on floor 9. My boyfriend went in on the 29th to Kch later that night sent to grant. I didn’t stay that night as he wasn’t yet technically admitted because by the time Kch transferred him it was 12am. I stayed until 3am I went home I came back on the 31st, I stayed then, the first during those two nights his mother whom he don’t want communication with showed up acting like a fool. It was okay the first night as she had to leave we put his charts as nri. The second comes around which is a Friday. I’m being told I had to leave for the night. I live an hour away so what? I left I called back the next morning Saturday and I’m told he wasn’t a patient. I knew he was. Same with Sunday. Monday comes and his father whom is smart said I’m next in kin there is no power of attorney and my son isn’t incomp I give you permission to be there. We showed up, I got to see my boyfriend and come to find out they took me off the visiting charts without asking my bf That was the first law suit they are going to get. Anyway I was re added and I stayed and it was okay. Well the same charge nurse whom kicked me out Friday ( Melissa ) happened to be working Tuesday the 6th. She sees me and has Peggy tell me I couldn’t be there now Mellissa & Peggy heard my boyfriend say he wanted me there they told me it was up to the security. I said okay. They come back saying security said no visitors and I need to leave. I go down stairs ask them myself and security says that isn’t true we don’t say that and your allowed there as long as he wants you to be. I called them from the floor 1… they said we don’t have a patient by that name I said you just made me leave that’s a lie! They hung up on me so again law suit coming there way because it is up to the patient not the doctors or nurses unless visitor and patient aren’t getting alone which we was. I’m not a criminal , I was calm at all times. Hell even the nurses when I did stay the two nights before the weekend was thanking me, telling me I’m a good communicator, I ask good questions, he’s lucky to have me… all of them enjoyed me.. Zach had me record them kicking me out , telling me to go blaming it on security… wanted me to record him telling nurses he wanted me there so kicking me out over Zach’s crazy mom whom started drama is unfair to me. I’m the only one on emergency chart & visitors. His mother was only pissed that her son wants NOTHING to do with her. So Peggy / Melissa if you see this… you are being sued you voilate my rights and his … ( not to mention) when he was released Karen called me to let me know. When I went up there Peggy seemed confused when she saw me. If they was good nurses they would’ve known who was being discharged. My boyfriend came home telling me about a jaylynn & destiny being out of bedside manner as well. He felt like they was too flirty as he was in pain. They kicked me out over a mother down stairs being rude to them as I was always kind to them until now. One time I called to check on him and they blantly tried to make me feel awful by saying “ ever since you left he’s all smiley “ well that’s because you got him on pain meds. I also didn’t like how he had a grade 2B burn in the belly VERY serious. Bleeding ulcers , & bleed - this could have been a life threatening situation and if it were to happen that way he would’ve went alone. They disrespected him as the one admitted. I have tons of recordings how he wanted me to stay, told tons of them that.. & them still making me leave and lying blaming it on security also have video of them telling me it was false. Him and I are handling this. They are heartless. The 6th making me leaving they knew he was getting out the 7th. I live 1 hour 15 minutes to be exact. Haven’t slept much in 9 days over this… I told Peggy my breaks wasn’t good she didn’t care that I put my own self in danger by driving home JUST to re come the following morning. As they was telling me he wasn’t a patient Cathy the social worker was texting me telling me he was.. do not come here!!!!"
"It deserves negative stars. I was transferred to grant as an emergency case for immediate surgery from Ohio health refugee road and these people abandoned me in the reservation for almost 24hours just sitting, no pain medication, nothing and I was dying in pain. All they kept doing was to get useless vitals the whole time. When I saw that I couldn’t resist anymore, I personally had to transport myself to Mt. Carmel hospital and the very moment I walked into it, they started with my surgery because any day wasted would have costed me amputation. Grant is not a medical facility, it is concentration camp, no wonder they have more security than nurses.Thats my experience and no one should make that mistake."
"This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. I was admitted for a total of 12 hours for severe abdominal pain and possible apendicitis. Second shift staff was pleasant but third shift staff was all rude and extremely short with me, providing no consolation or answers. Nurses waited hours in between check-ins while my pain continued to get worse and provided nothing for the discomfort and pain. I had 2 CT scans and got totally different responses from the 2 different doctors. The closest thing I got to an answer was to follow up with another doctor in the following days. There was also dried blood on the floor in my room which did not looked like it had been cleaned and had a foul odor. Not to mention I was denied water for nearly 10 hours by the nursing staff for no clear reason. Unless you are on the verge of dying, the staff does not care about you and will treat you as if nothing is wrong and without a care in the world."
"Just gave birth here and had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff is very caring and goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and you're comfortable. They're there to answer all your questions and nothing is too much. They made me very comfortable during my stay and made me feel heard. I would not trade this experience for anything else. This hospital was truly amazing the incredible staff deserve more recognition. Especially the med students."
"My brother was life flighted to Grant Hospital ICU and I have to comment on how well they took care of my brother. He was blind and deaf which can have challenges. They all treated him as though he was their family member. They were also so kind toward us. They would ask us if we needed anything and would always answer our questions. When it came time to take him off the ventilator they were so compassionate. The Chaplin talked to us and listened to stories we told about him. Every one of the nurses was fabulous and I could never thank them enough. No one ever wants to lose a loved one but they softened the blow."
