"Love the smitty burger. I live in michigan and im in town every other week. We make it a point to visit then. Great family place. We never wait long for order."

"Today, me and my grandmother went to Smitty's Place after getting my hair cut at Cleveland Street Barber Shop. She ordered the Quarter-Pound Cheeseburger, while I ordered the Shrimp Basket and the Soup of the Day. The shrimp basket is cheap and delicious, including 6 deep-fried Butterfly Shrimp and a hearty portion of French Fries. The soup, not as good. Though it tasted great, it was supposed to be spicy. That's why I ordered it. It turned out to be about as spicy as a Poblano Pepper (About half the spiciness of a Jalapeno). I was disappointed, but it didn't stop me from devouring it. Overall, we had a good lunch. I hope to come here again soon."

"We were referred to this restaurant after hitting 3 Goodwill stores. We were starving, and having recently moved to Lorain, we decided to try this place. We came at the right time, because when we finished dining, people started strolling in. I can definitely say this place quenched my appetite. The Smitty’s burger was the right portion. Their horseradish sauce for my fries was yum. When they brought us our food, my first thought was,,, “this resembles a Big Mac!” Far from it. It was tasty and filling. Our server was exceptional in server service. We left the restaurant full, planning to come back soon."

"Food was great and our server was extremely nice! Got the chili, crab cake platter, honey mustard chicken wrap, and french onion soup. All were great and came out pretty quickly. Great prices and great food!"
