"To whom this may concern, I have reached out to creative playroom last week stating that Hensley will no longer be coming back. On multiple occasions I have witnessed the teachers for babies and older kids were handled and talk to very loud and aggressive. Not all teachers were has this review but most Mrs. Jackie and the other young lady in the babies room were nice and made me feel comfortable leaving my child but Mrs. Sharon has always made me and my husband uncomfortable, she tells me she does not like working with toddlers like she hates it, she talks to them aggressively, I don’t trust what she says. And now that theirs a shortage of teachers she’s forced to take care of the kids by herself and since that happened my daughter don’t want to even enter the building! She’s very uneasy and not pleasant at all to babies, this is why Hensley is removed under these circumstances a 2 week’s notice would have been torture for me and my daughter."
"The director was more than unprofessional. Upon arrival, I saw her outside on her phone without knowing it was her and walked past. When I went into Creative Playrooms, they had to call her to come back into the building to speak with me. She seemed surprised that I was there despite my visit being scheduled over a week before the tour date. Unbeknownst to me, they allowed me to schedule a tour with my child during the nap time of the other children and I had to walk out so that my child wouldn’t wake the others. I was told the director would come back to talk to me and she never did. I was left waiting for over 15 minutes and just decided to leave. Needless to say, my child will NOT be attending. Very unfortunate and sad."
"Great teachers and staff. The director is great. One of my favorite things about this childcare center is they don’t use television to distract the kids. I have been to centers that have the television on like 24/7. This center actually interacts daily with the kids. Doing coloring, painting, projects, learning, singing, dancing, etc. They are amazing!"
"My son has been going here for almost a year now and I could'nt say more postive things about this place. My son enjoys going everyday, he has friends, and often talks about the employees. All of the girls are so helpful and truly care about my son and the care he is getting! Thank you for being so great to my family!"
"We had a very bad experience with the Montessori daycare in Independence. We left our 8 months-old daughter for 6 hours just to pick her up with 2 bruises on her head and a scratch on her cheek. That is not the problem, I understand that she could have fallen while crawling or trying to stand in her crib, we just wanted to know what had happened and how serious it was – she have never had a bruise before. The problem is the staff tried to make us fools by claiming that we had brought her in that condition and that the bruises were not even new… Thankfully, we had a picture of her, obviously without bruises, taken in the morning, minutes before leaving for the daycare. The next day we talked to the director and although she admitted that the our daughter must have fell in her crib or from one of the jumpers, she did not cry at all and nobody saw her, and that’s why they couldn’t give us explanation to what happened… Really, an 8 month old would hit her head so hard that she gets two bruises and scratch on her cheek and she won’t cry …. Who would buy into that? Our daughter is fine, all we wanted to know is should we be worried and take her to a doctor. It is not the problem that she fell or whatever, but please don’t make us fools. We trust you with our children and it is disturbing that an infant would hit her head and cry (I am sure for many minutes!!) and nobody would see her. One can only guess are they really looking after those babies? And btw, we never even got an apology."
