"The worst HOSPITAL ever!! My husband fell and can barely breathe. They told him he has to wait! A grown man literally crying due to the pain! Would NOT do anything to help!! I’d rather die then to ever come back to this hell hole!! Good luck to future patients!!! NOT A CARING PLACE AT ALL!! I WOULDNT EVEN BRING MY PETS TO THIS DUMP!!!"

"My daughter was ordered by the court to be taken to Hickman Hospital for an assessment by either a psychiatrist or licensed psychologist. Typically a 3 day evaluation.The ER doctor on duty released her within three hours. That's like having a dental hygienist do a root canal. Spoke to administration apparently this is standard practice"

"Theyll send you to collections faster than any hospital, went 2 months without paying my bill because of financial issues (had great insurance, total was still $1200 for a day stay in the hospital)and they sent me to collections less than 24hrs after my last statement. Applying for financial assistance takes (literal) months and also expect them to deny you for any reason they possibly can, i gave them my entire bank statements for the entire year and they declined me for not showing them paystubs, even though all of that information is available on my bank statements. There are extremely long wait times. I had to wait over an hour and a half to see an actual doctor instead of the ER nurses, which then took 4 hours to get me in for a scan after they told me it’d be 20-30 minutes. when i was being wheeled back for a scan there was an elderly patient literally moaning in pain and crawling the halls while the nurses all just sat at their desk chilling, I even saw one of them scrolling tiktok at her station. If you have an emergency you better plan ahead! Now because I had a medical emergency and chose to go to this hospital, i keep being harrassed by debt collectors even after paying my bill, telling me i owe them more money now. The doctor also clearly pushed a drug on me, on top of my standard treatment medication to get kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company."

"Terrible experience. Was running a fever and had severe pain in my leg. Nobody was in any hurry to help even tho I was shaking uncontrollably in the waiting room. Went back waited some more and then had blood drawn and an ultrasound on my leg even after I said the pain was starting to go down my leg. Gave me some morphine. Waited even longer and was told they didn’t have a clue, prescribed me some pain meds and said follow up with my dr if I can next week. Never checked my breathing. Went home, and by the middle of the night I couldn’t barely walk. The next day I went to Wauseon, my leg was now more swollen then it was and completely red going from the top of my leg to the feet. Within 5 minutes I was in the back and being soon and was diagnosed and admitted immediately. The nurses were nice at Hickman but the care was a joke"
