"I don't know what happened but the last 3 times eating here the chili is watered down. This time I asked to get chili and not water and it was still almost an inch of water I poured out of my regular 4 way. I won't be back to gold star. Edit 02.02.24 Went back today and ordered 3 conys. There was so much water in the chili the hotdogs fell through the bun. Raise the price and make the chili like it used to be."

"Every time I go here for lunch it takes them 15 to 20 minutes to get my food out to me. Not trying to be mean but I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to put chili and cheese on top of fries and on top of a hotdog. I started to try and order online. Make it a little bit quicker, they have no idea what online ordering is. And they’ve quiz me multiple times. Are you sure it’s Mount Zion. I don’t know how much more clear I can read 310 Mount Zion Rd. Florence Kentucky . Today my order was still not ready and I wasted 2/3’s of my lunch and never got my food. This is only location that struggles to give you wait time issues. If it is a lack of staff , please Gold Star hire more people. You are hurting your brand here!"

"This was a good location! Very fast, quick service....very nice waitress. The food was hot & fresh. Everything tasted amazing!! The chili & the chili dogs are awesome. I need to try the chili cheeseburger next!! 5 stars!"

"To say I LOVE Gold Star is an understatement! I could eat something from Gold Star literally every single day. I love their chili. I love their cheese fries. I love their burgers. However, the Florence store is one of the worst. On this particular day, I ordered a chili cheese sandwich and an order of cheese fries. I waited entirely too long in the drive thru to receive both of my items barely warm. The cheese didn't even begin to melt on my chili cheese sandwich nor my fries! I was so disappointed! I even let my fries set in the container closed to hold in the heat for nearly 10 minutes to try to let the cheese melt; it didn't work. For a $10 meal, I was very disappointed. Won't be going back to this location again. I love the Bellevue or Newport stores though!"
