"Via vite is decent, an old staple, though I’d say not unbelievable. I have celiac, so I avoided the gluten free pasta based on other reviews. Got the steak which was good and octopus appetizer which was excellent, as well as the chocolate crème brûlée for desert (interesting but not my number one). Waitress noted the kitchen does everything they can to avoid cross contamination which was appreciated greatly. I had a mild gluten reaction the next day but not bad considering what I’m used to, so I’d say if you are sensitive to cross contamination you may want to avoid. Not sure if I’ll go back as I try to avoid all gluten when possible dining out."

"I've had via vite allot at the taste of Cincinnati but have never actually gone to the restaurant, the location is so cool and the view of fountain square is excellent definitely should book it in advance during an event downtown I'm sure the people watching would be entertaining. Really enjoyed my food, my waiter was excellent from start to finish, paced the tasting menu just right and allowed for a substitution for the main dish once approved of course. Overall satisfied."

"We went for my husband's birthday dinner. It was a little rocky to begin because they were swamped and we had to wait awhile for our table. However, we probably had an even better table as it ended up being a pretty private room. We did wait at the bar while we were waiting for an opening. The bar itself is super tiny, which is a strange set-up. And the service at the bar was pretty low. They knew nothing about the wines, completely forgot the drink my husband ordered. But, once we were seated, the service was impeccable and beyond. Our server, Presley, brought the sommelier over to help us pick a bottle of wine, when we had questions. And she also went above and beyond when I told her I couldn't eat dairy. She made sure my meals were all dairy free. She even ended up basically customizing my order by combining parts of two dishes so that I had a full dairy free entree. We had octopus and prosciutto for appetizers and they were delish. The wine bottle recommended by the sommelier was fabulous! I was super impressed with our table service, hope to be back soon!"

"Solid Italian spot with a nice-but-still-casual vibe. Good service. The food was just ok - the salad that came with my chicken was ridiculously salty. The meatball (which had a hint of lemon in a nice twist) and lumache came out in similar sauces, just FYI. I liked the arancini."

"I came here for a wedding dinner rehearsal. The staff was amazing. We had quite the large party and everyone enjoyed it. The food was great and the service is what I found to be over the top great."
