"Fantastic. Spent 3 days here waiting on a load and never had a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The staff are very friendly. The pancakes are bigger than the plates. The steak and eggs is very good, cooked medium rare as requested. The pork chops were gorgeous and tasty. The gotta is very good. Almost forgot to mention the blackberry cobbler, very good. Definitely one of the best truck stops I've stayed at."
"My husband and I have always loved coming here, so we decided to come eat here for dinner last night. We sat down and started looking through the menu, and we both could not believe the ridiculous prices on the menu. We almost got up and just left, but we decided to just get burgers to keep it simple and cheap as possible. I understand people all over have been raising their prices to adjust to the rising cost of.. everything. But these are just price GOUGES. The waitress never came to check to see if we needed more water, which we were out. I wish I would have taken a picture of the burger and fries when I got it. A person could probably count how many fries were on that plate. I'm gonna guess 15 but my husband says 10. Guess theres a potato famine! Half of the plate had food on it and at least half of it was bare. I just got the impression that there have been extreme price jumps, food is no fancier, and portions are just shrinking."
"The food was good, I had eggs, sausage gravy & bacon. I gave 2 stars for service because it took forever to get my coffee refilled & our food took some time to receive. As you can see, it was not busy. We had 2 waiters that came and checked on us. They were nice people, but the service was slow. This was my 1st time here. The people I went with said its their tradition to stop after they leave casino. When we were finished, we got snacks to go home & refueled. Would I go back, yes, but don't recommend if you're in a hurry and don't have time to wait."
"We ate at Howie's once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both times we had really good food. My favorite was my burger with skyline chili on it! Wish we had a Howie's somewhere near us!"
