"This is a hidden jem in Hamilton. Off the beaten path behind a gas station rest this jewel. This is pretty much just carry out, but I’m sure the staff can accommodate if you decide to eat in. And speaking of the staff? They’re very friendly and accommodating. Been getting delicious cuisine for years here. Although every dish is great, I feel that the Szechuan beef is the best in the tristate! The hot and sour soup is very comforting like comfort food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!"

I’ve only tried the sweet-and-sour pork ribs and a beef lo mein and the beef set up sweet-and-sour pork, but it has become a quick favorite of mine and will probably eat here at least once a week but for life, you know."

"True Score- 3.5/5 Stars China House is my default option for Chinese carryout in Hamilton. In my opinion, it is the best in Hamilton in this regard (aside from Basil) and consistently has the best tasting food. Everything I have had is pretty good- however the egg rolls can be a bit chewy and the fried rice is kind of generic (although it tastes good). I think the chicken is excellent, the dumplings are great, and the lo mein is also pretty good. Staff is always very friendly inside, and that is a plus. It can quickly be an expensive dinner. 2 combos with a drink or 2 and an appetizer can easily run you 35 bucks. Depending on what you get. The place seems to be carryout/delivery only, as the inside is not suitable for seating to dine in. The blinds are all messed up, and in general just not an appealing looking place. The food and service are for sure the best in town, making this my default choice. Highly recommend!
