"Took the family there today for the first time. Have to say this was so much better than I even imagined. My kids were so excited to see animals, walk through the pumpkin field together to pick out pumpkins, and climb around on the hay bale play set. The pumpkin catapult was so neat to watch and definitely sets them apart. I loved that there was enough things to keep my kids (and my wife who likes to shop all things fall-related) interested, but it’s all close enough together that we didn’t lose anyone. Can’t wait to go back! PS - we really appreciated that this farm was not Halloween crazy. Our kids are young and just the displays at Home Depot are terrifying to them. This was a great fall family outing without having to worry about the kids having nightmares afterwards. Thank you!"
"The staff was incredibly nice and helpful taking extra time to make sure we knew what was going on with it being our first time there. They have a fun corn maze, a couple of friendly animals, and the ability to cut your pumpkin from the vine. And if you are into it, you can launch a pumpkin. Prices are pretty standard to stores and other farms. Over all it was a great experience and look forward to going back."
"Kids had a good time. We did the corn maze, watched a pumpkin being catapulted, picked out pumpkins from the vines, kids played on the slide with a little hay fort underneath, climbed into a hugh rope made spiderweb, got kids pics with photo props, pet the donkey and sheep, and bought some homemade jam from tgere little shop. The Strawberry Pineapple Jam was quite tasty. I'm looking forward to the Wild Blueberry Jam to try next. The owners are super nice, and it's small town family owned."
"More then a farm. Max their daughter is my dogs groomer. She started grooming him while she was at the vocational school and since continued being Rangers groomer. Very happy with the job she does."
"We love Simmons Farms! They offer samples of some of the food items they sell, this year we tried homemade fruit leather and a pumpkin lentil soup. Corn maze, hayride, trebuchet for launching pumpkins, pumpkin patch, spider web net course, hay bale playground for the kids and more. $5 entry fee and you get to do it all! Pumpkins of all sizes, they weigh them and you pay by weight. You can either pick them your self in the patch or choose from what they have picked and displayed in the tent. They also offer other fall decor like corn stalks, stackable pumpkins in lots of colors, and white pumpkins. Sometimes they bring their mini donkey out for the kids to pet too! Shopping she’s is stocked full of great items to take home as well— soup mixes, honey, syrup, candy, even stuffed animals!"
