El Rancho Grande - Huber Heights

"We’re from Orlando. It’s was our first time at this restaurant and it did NOT disappoint. All the staff was super friendly. Chelsea was AMAZING, she provided wonderful recommendations and made sure to address all of our needs. The food was DELICIOUS, FLAVORFUL and FILLING. Great price point for what we order. Would DEFINITELY eat here again!!!!"

"I went to EL Rancho Grande on Troy Pike in Huber Heights tonight with family. There were seven of us. We had dinner. Some of our food was cold but at least it was edible. The server was attentive and pleasant. I have been trying to tip at least 20% lately, and some times 25% if the server was exceptional, because of the climbing cost of living. Servers work hard. When he brought us our checks, each one already had an 18% gratuity added into the total of the bill. This infuriated me! Some of us had already laid money on the table. I asked everyone to pick their money up and put it away. Some of us were in the process of laying down more than 18% as their respective tips. I asked the waiter, who incidentally was also running the register if they had always done that. He was busying himself ringing people up and didn’t answer me. I asked him how I could get in touch with the manager. He said the manager was there and he would get him. I said no I want to talk to him privately I will call him. Basically what I wanted to find out was did this guy just take it upon himself to add this amount to our checks to ensure his tip, or is this now El Rancho Grande policy? They have never done that before at the Englewood location. What if the food and service sucked? Would they still require you to pay them an 18% tip for a bad experience?! Sorry about the “Karen” moment, but a tip should be earned, not demanded! If restaurants I frequent start to institute mandatory tip percentages, taking the matter out of my hands, I won’t go back!"

"Had a good experience for my daughter turning 18, server did his best at keeping drinks filled and any requests he got he took care of them. The steak in the meals was a bit chewy. I wasn't aware that if u have a big party they automatically include gratuity. Now I know this...lol We had about 13 people! Thank you for a great experience and for being kind and patient with our party. We appreciate you!"

"My husband and I went here for our anniversary and we loved the food, the customer service and the energy. We enjoyed the authentic Mexican food and hospitality. This was our first time and definitely won’t be the last time there. This restaurant deserves more than five stars."

"I got the Enchiladas Supreme with cheese enchiladas and no lettuce. These were the most amazing enchiladas I’ve ever had! I normally get verde sauce and this came with red sauce and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was super quick too. We spent less than an hour there for dinner on a Saturday night. All around great experience, will definitely be back and ordering these enchiladas every time!"
