"I didn't know this place was here. Very cool place. Awesome decor, very open and clean. Staff is awesome. I think everyone coming in is family. At least they are greeted as such. Food is fast and good. It's a diner like the old days. Tons of school spirt for UT. I have to admit, the food coming out of that window looked awesome. There are so many things I want to try. I should have gotten some photos."
"Excellent food and service. The hostess, waitresses, and staff are awesome. Pick your favorite meal and enjoy. The "Rocket Room" is a big draw for University of Toledo athletes."

"First time back to Ricks City Diner since the start of Covid. Asked for a table by the window and was told no, then they seated other people by the window. Ordered coffee. The coffee was horrible at $3/cup. The wife ordered blueberry pancakes. The blueberries were rubbery, and the syrup was like sugar water, very thin and flavorless. I ordered western omelette, wheat toast and home fries. The home fries were excessively salty and not very good. Received one piece of toast, unbuttered. Butter came on the side and I asked for strawberry jelly. Got one packet. The wife and I both ordered milk. It came in a cocktail glass. The bill for the breakfast was $37 before tip. Our server, Jack, did a good job. Needless to say we will not be going back to Ricks City Diner."
"First time at this restaurant. Our server Jenna was very polite. She informed us that they were short staffed and the kitchen was backed up so it would be a while. That was fine. However, the atmosphere was weird. The owner (oldest gentlemen) was present. He was observed several times with alcoholic beverages in his hand and drinking. I observed him open and drink two Heinekens and a high noon along with sharing this with several waitresses that drank off of him. One waitress looked dead at me while drinking with a look of concern. My husband ordered an egg Benedick that was consisted of a boiled egg, view photos. My Buffalo chicken wrap was good. It was buffalos sauce inside a wrap with crispy chicken and other ingredients. Their fries were good and that was the only plus. I honestly wouldn’t come back. It gave legs and eggs and the all women staff was a bit strange."
