"We choose for our children to go to Fairport Schools. They are small and the community as a whole is absolutely wonderful. Field trips to the beach for projects, a great talented crew for the drama department where all of the kids get a chance to do something great. It is really special."

"I was not allowed to cross the stage for my graduation due to discrimination from the superintendent. The superintendent and board pockets scholarship money and open enrollment money. If you are looking to go to this school, look elsewhere, the quality education is pathetic and downright embarrassing. If I could rate 0 stars I would. Do not trust the superintendent, board of education or the school in general."

"This is a terrible school, the only thing it has going for it is there are a few nice teachers and a fair-sized library. They dont offer lunches or breakfast, kids must bring their own lunch. The majority of the office staff are beyond rude, this goes all the way to the superintendent who was disrespectful to me when i attended the school. They dont offer any interesting classes and require you to take spanish. I wouldnt send my kid to this school even if they had a gun to my head."

"This school system SUCKS!!! The education one recieves in the Fairport school system is substandard. There is no way a kid is prepared for college here. I went to school here. At the time, I didn't know that I was light-years behind kids in other schools. Very few teachers cared about whether or not the kids were learning and they passed kids on from grade to grade regardless of whether or not they grasped the concepts being "taught." If one had to repeat a class or even a grade, it was only once. After they attempted to teach you twice, they gave up & passed you along. Upon enrolling in college courses, I found myself completely lost. I felt cheated. Kids who go to these schools better do a lot of their own reading and learning outside of the school... they'll certainly pick up more than by sitting in these classrooms."
