"We come for the fish on Fridays which is excellent.. but I have a problem when you go to pay they have a hostess tip jar. Seriously..when I asked the girl if they really get tips for seating people and giving them menus she said yeah why not.. I'm not sure if we will come back after that. I thought I was pretty good at tipping but I guess not. Anyone else have a problem with this?"
"Most of the food I have gotten here is pretty good. It is lightly seasoned as a rule, as it is closer to a diner than anything. The service is always fast and friendly, even taking the care to remember typical orders for certain repeat customers. The atmosphere really depends on who shows up. There are quite a few tables in the restraunt, and when it gets full, it gets a little loud. Not exactly the ideal location for a candlelight dinner, but a good place for a lunch during the week."
"Good food, good service. We were seated pretty quickly but there was a long line when we went to pay. The line moved fairly quickly. Good place to eat and always busy, which means others must like it also."
"Joanna’s Family Restaurant in Auburn, IN is delicious. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich. The food comes out pretty quickly. The staff is very friendly. The tables are pretty close together so your neighbor is very close to you. There is too much background noise to hear any music. This restaurant is very busy. Parking can be a real pain."
