"Will not pay you after you leave the company. Doug Plattner does not take care of his dealerships or staff he only cares about himself. His dealerships are ran down and nasty I don’t know how Chevy, Dodge and Ford let him get away with it, Subaru did not they made him sell it. They go through sales people due to the lack of respect and no work life balance but will say the sales people are the issue not the higher ups or conditions of the dealerships and cars not being detailed professionally. I highly recommend not buying a car from here or any of there other locations, lots of cars with check engine lights, bad brakes and oil leaks. I also highly recommend not working for Plattner Automotive Group."

"Let me share this. I just had the Best experience of my car buying life. Friendly staff great customer service and HONEST. I would send anyone there to work with them. They gave me an honest price and I did not have an omg what are these 7k in fees on my contract or a total insult like some other Sarasota County dealers with my trade which was a fully loaded 2017 with 97k on it. We agreed on a trade price on the phone and I came in and he said I can’t give you that amount we talked about I have to give you more. While I was finishing up paperwork they already put my tag on the new car and my license plate frame. The car was not detailed yet because someone was out today but they guaranteed me a detail and it will be done tomorrow after 9am. So here is my advice to you go to Plattner in Venice ask for Tony, Chris or Kevin, you will leave with a car and a smile. We will be getting another car sometime in the next year or two and guess where we are going. Plattner Venice. Ditch the other dealers who only want to deal with the ELITE and want to rob you blind.
