Costco Wholesale

"Signed up about two weeks ago, was throughly excited to use my new Executive membership and costco credit card. Upon visiting this location I had an absolutely terrible customer service experience with the person attending the self check outs. My partner was scanning her items on one lane while I was scanning on another because I wanted to get her a sheet set for her birthday. While checking out my partner tried using a card thats not accepted so the attendant came over and proceeded to give us an attitude and then ask who the member was, I said I was, and then she said that I had to pay, again with a nasty, snarky attitude. This is my FIRST EXPERIENCE CHECKING OUT. Ironically I was going to use my costco card but my partner wanted to pay for groceries this week. There’s a way to say things to your customers but apparently this dinosaur that hates her job doesn’t know how to exercise any customer service skills. She was older, wearing a face mask with a pink pattern and had classes with her hair tied back. As a business owner in the hospitality industry and if any one of my staff members EVER spoke to any customer this way they would be in the unemployment line within 24 hours. This is one of the most unpleasant, unprofessional and incompetent staff members I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with in my life. First real trip to costco, horrible. I want to cancel my membership."

"Be careful of the guy with the soda water stand, he gives everyone NASTY looks when you go to grab a cup of some of that stuff. He looks like snape from Harry Potter, they really need better people at the sample stands. Though the food is really good and same for some of the other samples there!"

"The only reason for the 4 stars is that the location isn't closer to me. This store is always well stocked. Every time I've been there, the gas pumps were 4 to 5 deep waiting in line. It "appears" there is a lot less staffing at this COSTCO than most where house stores."

"Absolutely horrible experience. Will be cancelling my membership immediately. Membership (wife’s card and she was present) was checked at the door and self check out. Fine, I think the door was enough but hey no big deal. We go to the self check out and they need came over to the products (large items). Employee asks for credit card, and I have mine out as my wife didn’t bring hers. I get berated by this elderly female employee who just keeps saying is it your membership card, then she turns her back and tries to berate my wife for allowing me to try to pay. I had enough, told my wife leave the cart we are leaving as I will not support a business that lets their employees handle customers like that. I did find a manager on my way out. I explained my experience and the issue. Manager simply said, yes the credit card holder and membership name must match. Although I disagree with this policy, I appreciate the calm demeanor of the manager. We did leave, and have since cancelled our membership. This is the Melbourne/Viera location. Where it is easier to go through an airport than shop for your family."

Now featuring polarization. I can here got a bag of pineapple and a hotdog. Actually I got 3 hotdogs. Also I didn’t feel great the rest of the day but that’s the price to pay for deal stealz like these."
