"I would like to respond to the above review by Isaiah Stafford. Mr. Stafford made 2 payments on his laptop, one on January 30th and one on March 2nd 2023. Mr. Stafford's pawn expired on March 31 and was held by us until April 11. Mr. Stafford came into our shop in August and unfortunately after 4 months, his laptop had been sold. We did close for one day because of a family emergency, just as the sign stated on the door. Our phone number has not been disconnected and we have been open 6 days a week. We tried to explain this to Mr. Stafford, who became irate, so he was asked to leave. We always work with out customers if they need extra time on their pawns but we can not hold a pawn that is overdue for 5 months. We have a good rating with the BBB and Mr. Stafford is just trying to defame our business, when in fact he missed his pawn default date. We would be happy to sell him another computer at a discounted price if he would like to come by."

"I trusted this company with my laptop and borrowed the minimum amount they offered. I then made several payments on the interest over a couple of months to keep the loan from defaulting. I always made my payment over the phone as I was out of State and I always used Google search engine to pull up the phone number for this business and for several months earlier this year the pawn shop had their business listed as "permanently closed" and the telephone number registered to the business on Google did not work it was not a working number no longer in service. To my surprise when I got back and stayed in July of this year 2023 and went to the business address I could tell that there were still a bunch of upon items inside the store and it seemed like it was still in business but there was a sign on the front of the door that said temporarily closed. I continued to call the phone number on Google that was no longer working and checking on Google to see if the status of the store would change as permanently closed and it did not change until August of 2023 at which time I went up to the store to make an inquiry about my laptop and I was rudely informed by a lady that I believe operates the store with her son or something like that that they had sold my laptop and she adamantly denied ever being closed down when I pulled up the screenshots I took of the business and it's listing on Google showing that it was permanently closed and when I also pulled up the picture of the sign that was posted on her front door of that business saying that they're temporarily closed she denied any of that every having happened I again asked if I could purchase my laptop back and she refused and asked me to leave the premises which I did. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NEVER EVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE SHADY PEOPLE THEY'RE TERRIBLE FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE AND I'VE ALREADY MADE A REPORT WITH THE BBB LAST WEEK WHO IS ALREADY INVESTIGATING THEM APPARENTLY WHO SAY ARE CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THEM AND WILL ADD MY COMPLAINT TO THE INVESTIGATION AND INFORM THE INVESTIGATORS.
