"hospital doctor sent prescription to publix pharmacy to fill, then pharmacy calls with a question on the prescriptions and instructs us we have to call hospital and ask them. hospital says no, the pharmacy is the one who has to call with questions about the prescriptions, not the patient."
"One of the worst customer services at Pharmacy counter. First the antibiotic I needed was not available, so it took a day to arrive. That's OK it happens. Worst part of the experience came at the pick-up. When I arrived at pick up counter, another customer was being served, as soon as she was done, I ad i approached the counter, and rep starting waving her hands letting me know that it's 9:04 PM, and they close at 9:00 PM. I told her it's just a pick up, she refused to give me the medicine, and told me to pick up tomorrow. They (Two young ladies) were both rude!!! Luckily, it was non-urgent antibiotic, so not an issue for me. But do these people realize they are serving with sick patient, what if it was a medicine I needed urgently? Next day, I went to pharmacy, I got my prescription paper back, and went to CVS. Also CVS charge me about $3.00 for same prescription Publix pharmacy was quoting me about $14.00 I am giving a one STAR, because, they fail to recognize they are working in health industry, and they refuse the service, when they could. I am not planning to return their pharmacy again!!!"
"I love going to Publix! Above everything else, the employees are very nice and will offer to do things like help you with your bags when you go to your car."
"Newer store. Very clean. Always has staff available. Good variety. Staff is well too friendly as if they're required to say "hello" even though they're not paying attention to you."
"This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I called them throughout the week to get them to call my doctor, and even though I told them the doctor they have in file isn't the correct one, and kept giving them the correct information, they still kept trying to call the wrong doctor and wouldn't update my information. I was without my medicine for a week. Now, I called them yesterday to have my antidepressant filled. They said it would be ready. I received no call to tell me it was ready, or if there were any problems. I go have there today to pick it up, and they say they are out of my antidepressant, and it will be here Monday. I can't believe that wouldn't call me to tell me something so important. I ask if I can get a fill of the non generic, and would you look at that... They actually DO have the generic in stock! All of a sudden there it is. They don't care about you or your medicine. They don't care if you are withdrawing due to their incompetence. They don't know how to use their own system. Go literally anywhere else."
