"A very rare retailer. My wife purchased a rather expensive ceiling fan (in my opinion) for our rental condo on Siesta Key in 2002 and it has worked flawlessly with the exception of purchasing natural dried palm fan blades every 4 to 6 years as the older blades would eventually crack and in need of replacement. In 2020 the motor quit working making the fans useless along with the spare fan blades we had stocked up on. Took a photo of the non-functional fan, drove to our Dan's Fan City to find out what it would cost to replace this fan, only to find that the particular model we had was no longer manufactured. The store manager Vic, also informed me the fan had a lifetime warranty and if we could choose another model of the fan it would be replaced at no charge. I could not believe what I was hearing, but bottom line, chose another model of the same type of fan, was able to use my existing fan blades on the new fan, making my stock of fan blades a worthy investment again. They could have sold me a new fan and I would have no choice, but to purchase another "expensive fan", but instead the store manager guided me on the warranty, supplied the new fan with no charge and suddenly my old expensive fan what one of my best purchases in years. Oh wait, my wife made the original purchase, but no matter, I'm sure I must have encouraged her to purchase it so we could make use of the incredible warranty in the future. Added a photo of the new fan installed and working along with photos from this Sarasota Store on Tamiami Trail and their large supply of stock and choices. What a deal and thank you Vic! You're the best and so is Dan's Fan City. I'm a fan."
