"Visited Lowes Garden center a couple days ago. The stuff I needed was outside so I found what I needed took pictures of the item numbers and went to the register. The lady was so happy I had that and it made it super fast. If you can help them by doing this it makes it much easier than just walking up and saying I need 2 bags of whatever you need. They carry several kinds of some items so give them a hand if ya can. Glad they had what we needed."

"Carpet and flooring staff overwhelmed. If due a discount make sure you get it. Lots of confusion there. Update: installation no better. Crew sent to my mother's home immediately complained about size of the house. This was surprising as service pros (the company that Lowes uses for installation) had sent someone in to measure. The installation crew then left the old carpet in front of the the house. This despite the sales contact staring old carpet was to be removed. No exceptions. Complained to Lowes, who said the installation crew said carpet had fleas. Nothing said at the time, and animals that were in the house took flea preventative. Really doubt that. The upshot -- Lowes executive customer relations people can't help so the carpet that was to be removed by contract is in front of the house, getting rained on. Advise extreme caution when dealing with this company."

"Lowes is a great place to shop. All military, retired military, this place gives 10% military discount on everything every day. The military can register their service record on MyLowes card and never have to pull out your military ID again. Each time you show the MyLowes card for scanning, the military discount is applied when the sale is finalized. Home Depot quit the military discount on many items, such as lumber and related items. There is hardly any item with military discount there. I quit going to Home Depot and go exclusively to Lowes. Cannot beat the discount on every item at Lowes. Their sale items are terrific..I purchased a 20 gauge stainless steel four hole 25" x 33 " single basin sink for $53.40. That included the military discount. It was originally $99.00, placed on sale for $56.40. I am very pleased with the sink and the price. It was the last display model and the men had to get ladders and tools to get it out of the display. I was told on Sunday that on Monday the entire sink display was being redone, and sinks placed on sale. Wednesday and nothing was done. But they were still going to redo everything. I said, "The display sink below the one I want was sold. I am not leaving this store without that sink up there in display. If they can sell that display, then they can sell the one I want which is the last sink for $56.40. I am not leaving this store without it." They agreed and got it out of display for me.
