"I’m only going to leave a review because in despite of the fact that I was released from the Trucking School two days ago due to “failure to follow instructions” or because I was a “possible collision hazard”. I left with my head high and knowing that this industry is just not for me. Firstly, the instructors Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Kenneth are both very strict, but that’s not even the big deal. They both have a tendency of talking to students in a very condescending tone, and they casually send out too many threats like as if your fate is in their hands. That is the biggest problem I had with them and it was the exact reason why I wasn’t “comprehending” because naturally I am not receptive to that kind of language. When they pulled me into the office to tell me they were going to release me; I very calmly responded saying “Ok”. I didn’t ask why or I didn’t try to plea with them and it almost seem as if they were disappointed that I didn’t. Because at that point, they were both very humble and civil when speaking to me. I let them know that I appreciate the opportunity but I realized it wasn’t for me and it was merely an option that I was seeking. And they shook my hand and told me “Good luck on your journey”. I’m not of fan of allowing people to degrade me even though I humbly allowed it. But that is what made me realize that it wasn’t for me. It goes against what I represent and who I am. People are not going to always master maneuvers and techniques in one literal day. And it doesn’t mean that you must make them feel incompetent if they don’t. I made a lot of faulty mistakes and absent minded decisions merely because I wasn’t totally invested and my heart wasn’t in it. So I was ever so grateful that they had gotten rid of me. Otherwise; I don’t think they’re bad people. I just think they allow their authority to get to their heads. A lot of young drivers like me are not facing the end of the world if Trucking School doesn’t work for them. So there’s no need to talk to them that way. I am grateful for the experience and the little bit of knowledge I did learn. And more importantly, I am grateful that I left knowing that it isn’t the career for me."
"Great company, great training.they really prepare you to hit the road with the knowledge you need.if you have a great work ethic, motivated and determined its every thing they promise. Randy and Blaine are great leaders to help get you on track.its performance based so bring your "A" game if you want to succeed."
"The writing is on the wall. Anytime you have a company that offers trucking school can not be a good company. There is a great chance they are low paying even once you get your cdl. Probably around .50 cents a mile. That's one reason they offer schooling, so they can pick on low end cdl holders. What i mean by low end in is beginners drivers and that means low knowledge of the trade. They can use you for a little bit and then pawn you off. Any trucking company based in Florida will not pay good. Florida is a bad state for trucking. If you want good pay. Go to Chicago. Almost all companies there start with .65 cents a mile or more."
"I'm not sure where to start however I've had a horrible experience and to say the least it was completely a waste of time...... their strict about the phone policy, but in which I was told including other students that WE can use our phone on lunch and our 15 min break,we was told this day one,so I always kept that in mind....two days ago I had to make a personal phone call so on my 15 min break I proceeded to get my phone out a box in which they make you put your device in, matter of fact in front of the instructor by the name of (KEN) went to the breaking area I made my call and came back on time after my call, this when things took a left turn,so when I was returning my phone (Ken) asked me why do I have my phone, that's not policy,I stated that I had to make a urgent call to my landlord, sorry but being in mind I was on my (Break) he stated three times that's not the policy however I remember him stating on breaks that we can use them,so I stated that sorry and went out the door, 5:00 end of the day I can tell he has a attitude but proceeded to call me in the office,so I went and sat down and listened what he had to say,he then goes back to the policy situation and I simply told him that it was urgent and had to speak to my landlord,he then goes on to say, what if you were in a truck going 65 mph,you get a news flash across your phone or something you gonna pick up your phone,I then stated that what kind of person you think I am,I wouldn't do that at all and ask are you serious, and just was shocked that he would think that I would do as such, being in mind we been in the hot sun all day so I'm basically over it at this point,no compassion at all,he then starts another issue about another instructor by the name of (Lawrence) said I got in his face like on my 3rd day in which I didn't,he didn't know what was going at the time and that man apologized for what he did and wanted to bring the best out of me and we left it there, again I'm 3 weeks in,but to bring up a situation that clearly was resolved was bull.....,so I ended up leaving,so me and the other students was walking to the shed to get picked up by the shuttle we were out there just talking having conversation (Ken) heard us and then went to get his boss (Randy) a absolute hot head full of himself and just arrogant as he can be,pulled me to the side and asked what's the issue, problem! I told him everything,in which that went in one ear and out the other, and (Randy) then goes on to say they were going to release me due to the situations,I was hurt and tried to reason with both (Ken and Randy) individually because things didn't have to go that route, however (Randy) Said that his decision was final, and was told that to bring my things in the morning after and they would buy me a ticket back home, the next morning I returned back to Cypress and thought someone would've had some type of compassion because I wasn't in the wrong no way,so I ended up talking with one of the owners about the situation ,and still denied,in which (Randy) said that the owners wasn't going to override him and clearly he was right, they ended up giving me the money for my bus ticket and I left, they tried to bully me and I wasn't having that at all period! But was so scared that you had to call 3 police cars on me because you messed up someone livelihood,I talk with my recruiter (sharon)and her director after and they were so compassionate and wish they could do something for me,not to mention my car was stolen the very first week I was here at the motel we were staying,I believe God has something good for me,because I sacrificed alot to even come to Florida to get treated unfairly! I don't recommend this company to no one at all! You will get treated like trash and bullied if you let them!"
"The driver has debris flying from his haul which hit my car and a crack in my window also damaged the front of my car I've called multiple times and no one has answered the phone I will be taking legal action"
