"Do you like driving in circles? Transferring to another van mid run? Book a seat on the Village Van ! My sister and I were picked up first to go to the airport. An hour and fifteen minutes later we had picked up five more passengers and were only twenty five minutes from where we started our journey? ! Our next planned stop was a parking lot where everyone transferred out of van A into van B. The vans had bench seats which you had to stand up in a hunched over fashion (not a tall van) scoot around the ends of each seat, and climb out backwards. This was quite a process for some of the folks with canes and difficulty walking. Our luggage was moved from shuttle A to shuttle B. Everyone is now situated in Van B with an extra passenger (8 total) we head to the airport. Two hours later we arrive at the first airline at Terminal A Yes we did arrive safely at the airport. Yes the drivers were professional and courteous. Yes the price was affordable. Take your chances on the number of stops to pick up passengers and if you have to transfer over to another shuttle in a parking lot!"
"The driver was super nice and friendly, even helpful pulling out a step stool for entry and exit. The van was horrible. I could barely get in the way back with my bag with only 8 inches of clearance to crawl through. There was a nauseating stench throughout the van that made the trip unpleasant. The interior was old which is fine but the smell was not. They were 20 minutes past the time they gave me which is pretty typical of car services in the area."
"The van was prompt at arrival at our scheduled time of 3:05 am, but we still arrived at the airport with only 10 minutes to spare from our boarding time of 6:20. Our flight time was 7:00 am, yet we did not arrive to the airport until 6:10 am. I am very disappointed in the scheduling/planning aspects of the service. We went to both airports in one shuttle. The driver was nice, it was just unfortunate that we almost missed our flight after being in transport for 3 hours (the airport is only 1.5 hours away)."
"Our experience of getting picked up at the airport to go to The Villages was less than stellar. We found the van immediately, and we were in the van with one other woman. The driver did not give us many updates except that we were waiting on another passenger. His body odor was atrocious, and then he closed the van doors, so there was no ventilation or fresh air coming in. We were exhausted from traveling, and finally after waiting over 45 minutes, we left. When we called, we were not informed that we would be waiting up to an hour for other passengers to fill the van. This could be a great option if you have a lot of extra time to kill, but we won't be taking this again."
"authors recommended the service. We knew flying over Christmas time. The airport would be busy so we booked them for an hour earlier than what we normally would have. Thank God we did! They gave us a confirmation number and then told us they would email one. We never got the email. We called 15 minutes after our pick up was supposed to happen and got put on hold. We dealt with a lady named Grace. Grace couldn’t have been more unapologetic. First she said, do you want to cancel the service. We said no we need the service. She then said let me see what happened to your driver. A little while later she got back on and said they couldn’t find the driver he was new. or asked if we wanted to cancel the service for a second time. We said no. They told us that another driver could come and it was an hour after they told us it would happen. She also made it a point to say that the van was going to be very packed and she wouldn’t have much room. Like this is our fault this wasn’t booked properly! She did ask a third time do you want to cancel. We said no send the other van over. The driver was super nice and everything was fine but we didn’t get picked up on time and we were sweating it for at least an hour. A 30 minute phone call with zero sympathy is what we instead got. My business needs customers and custom services are number one priority. Maybe Grace needs to think about people that are stressed and using their services, may not want to be extra stressed when they are picked up. I’ll use other services in the next time. Too bad of the experience we had with grace because our driver was very nice."
