"I came in to Cycle Shack because my wife was on the hunt for a new bike. Caleb treated my wife with the utmost respect when she stoped in the day before. I come back with her one day later and talk with Caleb, GREAT. However the owner is the problem. I asked if he could discount the bike if I bought two on the spot. He gave me the sales pitch and I said well how much can you take off. He said the price is the price and just walked away leaving me standing in his shop. Mind you if he would have simply said I can take $100.00 off he would have sold two and saved himself this review. Unprofessional ! So I told him I would go home and research the bikes. Lo and behold I go to Izip's website and see the very bikes he was trying to sell me for $1450.00 I purchase both for $888.00 WOW. The most outrageous thing of this whole experience is that he is in business to sell product so be a sale's person and sell the bikes. So because I live in Naples I should just pay what ever someone ask or should look for the best deal for my money. Why would anyone get upset with you for asking for a discount. So needless to say go online and save yourself some money and don't pay more for POOR customer service."
"No warranty on any product or workmanship… one has to pay for a diagnostic. I paid $150 in June for a new front tire on my basic Schwann lady’s bike. Never actually used the bike until October but the tire is flat and would not inflate. Of course Cycle Shack was eager to remind us as we entered that there is NO Warranty. Your reply below is not really what happened… My wife and I were asked an estimate to even evaluate the problem. I asked why and the reply was to pay for the staff and the fees. If the evaluation was free we would have gladly accepted instead of leaving your establishment."
"Cycle shack exceeded all expectations! The staff's exceptional friendliness and genuine enthusiasm created a positive atmosphere. They took the time to understand my mom's needs, ensuring she had a fantastic experience trying a bike after five decades. The attention to detail, coupled with their extensive knowledge, made the selection process seamless. We left not only with the knowledge of what trike to get but also with a sense of satisfaction and gratitude for the outstanding service provided. This shop truly sets the standard for excellence in customer care. Highly recommended!"
"Bike Shop Review: Serious Safety Risks and Unprofessionalism at Cycle Shack. I recently had a distressing experience at Cycle Shack, where I paid over $600 to get three bikes serviced. The service was not only technically deficient but also marred by the staff's disrespectful behavior. Critical Safety Issue with the Chain The primary concern was the chain installation. The chain was so short that it posed a severe safety hazard. Upon questioning this, I was met with dismissive comments and the absurd claim that the chain would stretch almost an inch, which is a clear misunderstanding of basic bicycle mechanics. Independent Verification of the Danger The seriousness of this issue was independently confirmed when I sought a second opinion. Without any prompting from me, the technicians at the other bike shop immediately noted that the short chain could have caused the rear wheel to disengage during a ride, validating my initial safety concerns. This highlights the potentially dangerous situation created by Cycle Shack. Rude and Arrogant Staff Behavior Throughout this ordeal, the staff's conduct was consistently arrogant and rude, particularly in their interactions with my son and when I returned to discuss the chain. This level of unprofessionalism further deteriorated my trust in their service. No Response from Management Efforts to discuss these issues with the shop's management were met with silence, showing a lack of accountability and disregard for customer feedback. Conclusion: The service at Cycle Shack was not just subpar; it was dangerously negligent. Coupled with the unprofessional behavior of the staff, it paints a concerning picture of their approach to customer service and safety. I urge Cycle Shack to address these grave issues immediately."
"Decent prices, but very helpful staff! I need modifications and they're willing to work with me! He even helped put my trike in the truck for my dad. Amazing people here!"
