"Talk about, being robbed lied to and treated unfairly by Chef Bayoro of Bayoro Catering and Divine 9701 and some of you will also know as Hollywood live Brunch Chef. My Birthday dinner was not REMOTELY close to what it should have been. I booked and paid $5,720 for Chef Bayoro to cater and decorate for 40 people. Some thing that I absolutely regret doing because when I booked them for my Son's 10th Birthday 2 years ago, the food arrived an hour late, they forgot the Lemonade, one side and the pikliz and I was never refunded for it but was told they'd make it right since I was always supporting them when their Resturant was in Miami Divine and again at Hollywood live. I communicated this to her upon this booking and was told it would be corrected. This is the prime example of why establishments like this doesn't deserve 2nd chances. My Rooftop birthday dinner started at 7 pm. I contracted 5 separate vendors. Many vendors were onsite as early as 3 pm one at 5 pm. Although this is catering I also contracted them to set up my table which they completed the day prior. However, the food arrived at 9:12 pm (2 hours and 12mins after my start time) and what makes it worse was it was NOT enough food for the paid 40. I spoke to the chef Bayoro on several occasions before my event and she a full understanding of the menu which is also reflected in the invoice. I never received my dry ice bar, specialty customized drinks( even though I provided all the alcohol). I didn't get two of my appetizers, ( Boulet Balls and Spicy deviled Eggs) They only delivered enough soup joumou for about 26 people because that's all the servers passed out. I paid for 40 people and 32 arrived but only 26 got soup. I paid for fried salmon and received a few pieces of fried salmons and either grilled or baked salmon. Baked/ Grilled was never the requets and absolute not enough. She also forgot the lemonade. What makes this even worse is several of the guests didn't eat the few things that were provided. The servers provides kid size serving to adults. This was not buffet style people this was served by their servers. Let me add the night of my event, the Chef advised ( while being late) that she will not be there as she was working on another event nearby. I provided my guest with water, ice, and alcohol. On December 27th Chef Byoro business partner Whatsapp me an event flyer to which I responded NO. Expressed to him my full disappointment and treatment of my birthday. He advised me that he would "let the chef know and to give me a call. It is now January 11th and I have yet to hear from either well just in advertisement via Whatsapp. For a company, not to acknowledge wrongs and follow up after a client has paid is classless, shady, and ill-mannered of them. To have full clarity that they did not deliver as related to my invoice and constant communication is stealing. Another prime, examples of over promising and under delivering. As I have recommended all of my vendors and clients to not book with Bayoro Catering. They also have a partnership with other association clubs and restaurants. They take zero accountability for their actions. As a professional and well-known person in my industry, I can confirm to you all that there are SEVERAL other Haitian catering companies in Miami, Broward and Palm Beach whom the majority does travel. Please use the web and especially IG to do your research. Continue to read reviews and don't overlook the ones that could save you money, time and moments you can't get back. This is coming from someone who books events and catering regularly. I have several screenshots of the invoice, text messages as well as 32 people, the venue operator and other vendors as pure proof. NEVER again will I make this error with them. They are absolute and utter thieves. This is is for my Miami and Atlanta connects and people looking for a Caribbean African caterer.. DONT WASTE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THEM."
"Stopped here for brunch on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and ever flowing. The service was impeccable. For $30 brunch buffet with a drink and mimosa included I was i food heaven. I fell in love with the plantain cups with shredded fries pork-omg to die for! Kudos to the chef and her husband who was so gracious and actually took time to ask us about our brunch experience. There were 8 of us all together and we all said we would definitely be back. I took off a star because we had to wait several times for plates and silverware at the buffet station. The music was a good but a tad bit loud."
"Wow, the food here was simply delicious. We ordered the jerk chicken pasta & 3 tacos-( 2 jerk (mild) 1 shrimp)..The jerk pasta was too spicy for me but my wife loved it. Tacos were D'Vine. The pita chips were to die for, Friendly hostess and the cost was reasonable.....Now for the thumbs down ...Location is BAD and there's no parking easy available to patrons. Hopefully in the future, location can change to a more stand alone environment...But definitely will go back...Just for the Food..."
"One of the best restaurants in Northwest Dade! Everything tastes AMAZING and is cooked to perfection, from the macaroni to the red snapper. You are missing out if you don’t visit this restaurant at least one time."
"It's no longer a lounge. It's a RESTAURANT. A new and yet to be discovered jewel in the community! I attended a sponsored event here and was pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful ambiance. From the lighting and smooth jazz, to the bar and the live band, it was great. But the real star of the show was certainly the food! I sampled the Haitian Rice, Griot, Mac n' Cheese, shrimp and my favorite.............the crab legs. Yum! Yum! You owe it to yourself to get here. Maybe I'll see you there. I'll be back!"
