"Great place to visit and socialize"

"Went here to support a local organization by buying a dinner, proceeds to the Eagle Riders Club. The bartender on duty, whose name I have learned was Liz, very rudely asked if my mother and I were members before we had a chance to sit down. My mother was a member, and politely pulled out her member card. Liz scowled and stated that the card was expired, and therefore my mother was not a member. My mother explained that she is a snowbird and that her membership expired while she was up north for the summer, and that she'd pay her dues and renew her card. Liz demanded that because her card was expired, my mother would have to fill out a whole new application and pay an extra new member fee. All the while, my mother was greeted by other members, welcoming her back for the season. The club president told my mother that she didn't need to take care of her membership that day, and that she didn't need to apply again. Another member offered to sign us in as her guests. When my mother went to sign the guest book. Liz would not allow her to, saying that because she was a member she couldn't be a guest, also while insisting she wasn't a member because her card has expired? All the while my mom and I hadn't argued about anything, were just jumping through her hoops so that we could buy some dinner to support the club and leave. Liz kicked us out. I will never go here again unless I know that Liz has been fired. She treated myself and my mother with contempt and straight-up rudeness and lost the club the money we were going to spend tonight. I am disgusted by not only her behavior, but also by the behavior of others working there who knew my mother and allowed this to happen. My mom does not know I'm leaving this review, but I could not do nothing when my mother has been an active member of the club for a few years and was treated with such disrespect."
