"The American Legion post 75 offers many fun events to support the large veteran community in the area. There is karaoke every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 8pm to 11pm. Fridays evenings feature a dinner and sometimes a live band."
"I joined the auxiliary. My first meeting, not a single person smiled at me or even spoke to me - except the woman at the door who snapped at me for not bringing a pen. I sat at a table all by myself. I got an insincere apology from the then leader, wherein she tried to blame me for arriving too early (I didn't). I drink the cheap liquor here, but you'll never catch me volunteering or donating money to that group."
