"They charge you the amount to fill an empty propane tank for a grill, even though it is not completely empty. Previously the charged for the specific amount of propane they pumped into tank. I mentioned 3 times that the tank was not empty, but did not listen."

"I have purchased multiple times at southern. Most purchases have been pleasant. I purchased a tweco 3 in 2 suitcase welder there several years ago and have used it regularly without fail. The machine is fantastic. About 3 months ago I walked in to purchase a couple rolls of welding wire. When I found what I needed I put them on the counter. The rolls were labeled 34.99 each. Their representative rang up the 2 rolls and said, 97 something. I said, excuse me. He replied. $97 and whatever the change was. I said something is incorrect, there are only 2 items and they are 34.99 each. He said, oh. That’s the new tarrif tax. I am like no thanks. I pick up my phone and call Crompton. They answer and tell me they multiple rolls of wire the size I need. They are $25 each. I ask about special tax. He says, No. just the regular 7% sales tax. I said, No tariffs? That hasn’t taken place yet. I am under th impression that tarrif tax isn’t supposed to be added to the bill. It is supposed to reflect in the price of the product."
