"I've been trying to get a door and door jamb replaced that is still under warranty for 10 months. I'm stuck in an endless cycle of make an appointment from 1 - 4, employee shows up, can't believe the door and parts haven't been delivered, reschedule. Rinse, repeat. I've now taken 6 days off work and still have a half inch gap in my door, a $400 electric bill, and bugs in my house. Maybe the 7th time is a charm? I wouldn't hire these people to build a sand castle. I've missed so much work for appointments that don't show up or cant complete the job because nothing was delivered that it would probably be cheaper to just pay a company that isn't completely inept to fix it, even though it is still under warranty."

"Very poor quality products! Four (4) of their windows (they worked with the builder, D.R. Horton) had broken seals, and we found bugs living inside the glass panes. Those four windows were replaced with the same poor quality of windows -- two (2) of the four (4) windows developed mold inside the panes of glass. We reported the mold. American Builder Supply sent out a rep who confirmed the presence of mold, and said two replacements would be ordered, and to allow 8 to 12 weeks for them to arrive. I phoned three months later to check on the status, and was told that our repair tickets were closed because no mold was found! Someone within their organization is either falsifying information or they are completely inept!"
