"We had SCS install new Hardwood flooring. They did a great job , prompt, courteous and Thorough. I would rate them a 5 for the installation. Frankie and his team were Great. Over the last 2 years the floor has had some day to day damage and I have tried for approx . 18 months to have Frankie back to repair/ replace the damage at our expense. Countless phone calls, messages to Leonard and eventually he would contact me and say they were really busy but he had me on his list. Months go by and we start over with trying to get it fixed and phone calls and still not scheduled. In my last conversation with Leonard he acknowledged it’s been over 18 months and that Frankie is really busy on a big job.... I got the sense that he wanted me to go elsewhere to have it fixed after waiting this long. We felt Frankie was worth the wait. I would highly recommend SCS floors to anyone as long as you know you will get great service on the install but nothing after that. My rating is a 5 on install and a 0 on repairs/ follow up / customer service on post install damage that you may incur. I would say if you want a great install without any future repairs to owner caused damage , use them. It’s disappointing !"

"Please read before you allow anyone from SCS Hardwood Floors into your home. My wife and I are going to have laminate flooring installed in our home. SCS Hardwood Floors, Inc. was recommended to us through a Home Advisor search inquiry. SCS Hardwood Floors has great reviews online but our experience with their door-to-door salesman was anything but great. The initial stage of our in home consultation seemed routine but things took a left turn when we started to ask simple questions such as the ones listed below. 1. What is the warranty for your product? 2. Who is the manufacturer? 3. How thick is the laminate? 4. Do you have laminates with different textures than the samples you brought to our house? 5. Does the price you're quoting include a vapor barrier and padding underlay? I earned a living for 5 years of my life as a salesman. These are the type of questions one would expect any informed customer to ask. The salesman measured our rooms and began to calculate how much installation would cost. He quoted his figure and I asked him "do you have any laminates at a lower price point?" This is a question I always ask, regardless to whether I'm going with the initial offer presented (I like options). As soon as I asked him about laminates at various price points other than the samples he brought to my house, the salesman said to my wife and I "I'm going to start to put my samples in the car." My wife was still on the floor looking at the samples. He abruptly collected his samples and slammed my front door without shaking my hand or saying my company will be in touch with a written quote. Even if SCS Hardwood Floors Inc. company doesn't write a formal quote on the spot (I understand some companies don't), he could have at least shook my hand before he left my house (even if he felt as though he didn't close the sale). I usually do not write online reviews. However in this case, I figured he earned it the moment he stormed out of my house and slammed the door."

"We went to the SCS showroom on Saturday looking to buy hardwood flooring. Terry was so rude & disrespectful, he wouldn't even help us. We asked him about the hardwood flooring we were interested in & he showed us one or two & would disappear. I would have to carry the sample wood flooring all over to ask him the price per square foot. Then he would disappear again so I would have to track him down again with a floor sample. He disappeared again so we walked out & he said nothing. I would never ever recommend this business to anyone. He needs a refresher course on customer service......... If he is the owner then his attitude & helpfulness will affect his company. He was horrible.............. Bought 5,000.00 of hardwood from another company on Saturday, the same day we were at his showroom."
