"We delt with them when the old owners had it, called several times because the floor is chipping and buckling. Finally thought I was getting somewhere because I called and was told it was under new ownership, someone came out and informed me that the ones who installed were sub contractors and voided the warranty on my floor because they used caulking, so pretty much stuck with broken floors that cost a lot"
"Great store, good variety of flooring products like: tiles, laminate, Vinyl Waterproof, Wood and more"
"No matter how good or bad they are...you better hope that they are not bought out by another party, because they accept no responsibility for quality of workmanship, as your flooring was installed by a subcontractor who may or may not be with them. We had floors installed 2 years ago...they are "hollow" beneath and feel and sound cheap when walked on. I called and asked them to come out and look at floor for resolution. I was told that they had recently bought the company and kept the name. When their project manager came out to inspect, he agreed that it was a bad install job and the company would try to make it right. "Please call back in a couple days". A couple days passed, I called...and the owner said that it was a difficult time..."please give me a week" I once again called only to be told that Mike the Project manager was no longer there and they would do nothing to help us remedy my floors."
"We visited the Williams store last Wednesday Nov 29. We read an add on Craigslist that stated that they were having a sale on flooring to make room for new inventory. We spoke with the salesman on the floor, Michael. He was helpful and showed us the snap lock flooring they had on discount. We decided there wasn't any of the discounted flooring we wanted and he showed us some other options. We found two we particularly liked and asked the price of each one. He suggested we take a sample home to see which one looked best in the house. We did just that and returned Friday with our choice. We asked the price again, agreed on a quantity, and wrote them a check. He told us it would probably be about a week for it to arrive. Later that afternoon a lady called us and told us that the price that we had been quoted, 2 different times, was too low. She claimed that Michael was not at fault but the manager had mispriced it by a dollar per square foot too low. We asked how that was our fault and she said it wasn't, just a pricing error. They offered no solution other than pay the higher price or pick up the check. We picked up the check. Their business model seems woefully lacking to us."
"I will provide a fair and balanced review: Over a year ago, I worked with Greg to have a floor put into my father's residence. Greg was courteous and professional and showed much respect to my aging father, which meant a lot to me. He was punctual and answered my questions about a floor installation with full knowledge of the materials in consideration of my needs, the layout of the rooms for the install, and the weather here in humid Florida. There were delays in getting a date solidified and I found the communication to be limited. If I had a full voicemail box or if I didn't respond to a call right away, it took longer to get answers. The quickest way would be to go to the store itself. Problematically, there wasn't much conversation about the logistics of the install itself: I didn't know they'd be cutting wood in the driveway and using the house's power. There was no hosing down of the driveway on the installers part. Luckily, I put paper down for the installers as they were walking in and out of the house; this wasn't something that would have been done otherwise, it seems. The floor install is adequate. It looks good. There are some areas where the floor is not level. The baseboard molding was loose and not installed properly in a few places, requiring an installer to return. This took time. Even now, I see one or two spots where it is loose. A threshold was also supposed to be installed in one of the door frames separating one room from the other. This was not done. I've had sporadic communications and he assured me it would be done but it hadn't. At this point, it does feel like a brush-off and I am not chasing it to be done. I generally like the employees and the final outcome. I am not sure I would go back to this store as a repeat customer, though."
