"If you want friendly customer service from a knowledgeable source, you need to go to Wooten's in Baker. If Steve doesn't have what you need in stock, he'll order it on the spot. Customer satisfaction is their focus. This is a local establishment, not a chain, and it shows. I pulled a trailer over there last week to get fencing supplies and Steve noticed that I had two tires that were low on air. When he finished loading my trailer for me, he pulled 50' of air line from his shop and aired up both tires, then checked the pressure on the others to make sure that I would make it home safely. You don't get that kind of care and respect from Lowe's or Home Depot. Help support our local small businessman. They're truly a dying breed."

"They were completely disrespectful... Tried to tell me that all food grown in dirt is organic..... They really made me have to dig to find the truth of weather or not they sprayed chemicals on the stuff, told me they did not then, stumbled over himself a bit, then finally told me they spray for bugs.... Which would be inorganic. I simply don't trust store bought organics anymore. As I find a lot of phosphate and canola oil in our human "organics" and they don't even list an ingredients list on our "organic" animal feed. It's coming down to us just simply having to do it ourselves."

"We have previously bought lots of lumber from Wooten's and were happy with service and prices. But we just made a visit out there today for the first time in awhile. We were having trouble finding decent hay for our pet pygmy goats at the end of winter and were doing internet search and found them listed on a horse hay resource listing. And they had some very good hay for this time of year. Well stored and protected. I am always in search of good quality feeds for my chickens and goats. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they are carrying a line of feeds that is GMO free. This is very important to me for feeding my laying hens and I have been making my own mix because it is hard to find feeds that I am willing to give my girls. They were very willing to check sources and prices to see if they could get anything else I might be interested in for feeding. This GMO free feed source is a big deal for me and I am glad to find a farm and garden store that is interested in handling this kind of feed. They also are expanding into vegetable garden seeds. I like their community mindedness and their friendly and helpful attitude toward customer needs. I have found my new local farm and garden store and don't mind traveling from north of Crestview in order to obtain their kind of services !!!!"
