"So I stop by this store all the time to grab dinner at subway on my Jacksonville to lake city route. I do this a lot during the week and I'm getting really fed up with the old woman at subway that's called "Momma" all the time you hear her saying "don't forget to tip momma" over and over to people in the line. That's so incredibly rude that she literally will say it out loud to everyone that's waiting to have their subs made and do so multiple times. As a customer that's very embarrassing to just be asked/told over and over to "don't forget to tip momma". This has been going on for a long while and nothing is done about it. She consistently tells people in the line that her daughter is the manager I guess so if anyone decides to complain about her speaking out don't forget to tip momma that the complaint will just go to her daughter the long time manager. This has been going on for well over a year of me stopping in. The other girls that work there are fast and friendly and do their jobs. It's gotten to a point over the last couple weeks that if I go in and she's at the subway I just grab a bag of chips and skip dinner because I'm so tired of being told over and over don't forget to tip momma. I always tip anyhow, 2 or 3 bucks to who makes my sandwich anyhow, I do it every single time but I don't like being asked/told to tip. Another problem with momma is her telling you hold on and just standing there talking and laughing with another worker (I assume talking to her daughter) and some times it's like 5-10 mins of just standing there waiting while she's joking and laughing with whom she's talking to. That's really had me steaming mad before but I'm always polite and friendly because that's just how I am. Another issue with momma and something that she says constantly is that "they only keep up because she is staying extra and working off the clock" and I assume that is to make people follow her requests of "don't forget to tip momma". If she is really working off the clock as much as she says she is then a huge problem exists in that company. So her daughter is the Manager and she just works off the clock because of her daughter? A couple months ago she was telling everyone in the line and while she's making your sandwich that she's gotta work off the clock to keep things running smoothly and making it known that she's working like 11 to 12 hour days and only being paid for 8 hours and she was telling us that every time she walked in. I've asked her multiple times are you salary? And she says no she's hourly so she's working for free to keep them caught up. Now she's only saying she works off the clock some times but I just can't understand how she can be working off the clock for that many hours and no one is catching it and doing something about it? Or is she just saying yeah I'm working off the clock like I always do and then don't forget to tip momma so people feel bad for her and give her tips? I can't believe any company would not catch on to it if someone is working off the clock as much as she says she is... even working off the clock one minute is a problem but hours a day? That's a HUGE PROBLEM and someone needs to do something about it. The labor board really needs to be alerted to this if what she is saying is true. I personally believe she's doing it to make people feel bad and tip her and if thats the case then she's basically slandering pilot making customers think that pilot is working this old woman off the clock and she needs tip for her time. One way or the other it's very wrong be it on pilots end or on her end. This is such a convenient stop for me to make on my to and from lake city runs as it's right off I10 and it's not a huge center so it's a quick in and out and I love subway so it works great for me. However with the service from "Momma" I just can't deal with it anymore."

"I'd give zero 1/2/24 at 5:17 pm the short women working cash register and the older lady at subway needs to have a better attitude towards customers they bite your head off foe asking a question about food or why you trying to check in for reserved avoid if possible TA next door got alot more friendly people there"

"Lady Lily, the manager, is aggnarent and doesn't appreciate drivers, and she charged me for a free cup and complained about taking the cup and charged me for ice that I didn't pay for. Just a greedy worker who cares for the gas station"

"This is a very small pilot so be aware of that. There are two competitors near by tho. Although they are doing construction right now the shower was clean."
