Brooks and Shorey Resorts Pelican Isle

"We recently rented unit 507 at Pelican Isle and arrived on Saturday evening. First impression is that this is a nice unit. Furnishings and decor are nice and appear to be taken care of. The main tv has 3 remotes with no instructions on how or which one to use. The channel lineup on the coffee table is inaccurate. The microwave is also a convection oven and operation is not intuitive. We had ants all over the kitchen the 2nd day even though we did not leave any food open on the counters. We called Brooks and Shory and were told to put all edibles in the refrigerator, leave nothing in the sink. They said the exterminator would be there Thursday...we called on Monday morning. Monday night I woke up at 1am, went to the kitchen for water, turned on the kitchen light and giant roaches were all over the floor. They scurried under the appliances, so they knew where to go and had been there for a while. I immediately called Brooks and Shorey and left a message for a call back Tuesday morning. No call back so I called them again. I got the same line that the exterminator would be there Thursday. I said that was unacceptable. Late Wednesday they called and said the exterminator had been to our unit, however we couldn't tell if they had sprayed because we still had roaches. This tells me that this management company doesn't take care of their customers or maintain their units. And that's a shame because this was a nice resort and great location."

"Beachfront property is in good repair. Elevators always worked and the beach had sugar sand which was outstanding! The unit we stayed in could have been better stocked with necessities like TP and kitchen supplies."

"Brooks and Shorey offers relaxing, updated beach front properties at an excellent price. And the amenities package is awesome. They are friendly and provide great customer service. Have staid with them plenty of times and will continue to do so."

"I was hesitant to book with Brooks & Shorey at first because their reviews were not the greatest. However, I'm very glad I did. The condo at Pelican Isle (#608) was perfect! Very nice and clean, cold air, family oriented, and the view... you just cannot put into words. I am a super planner so I know I called and emailed them probably 6 times before our stay asking questions and the were very prompt to respond and answered all questions fully. Check in and out, super easy! No keycard to keep track of, no long check in and out process. We will most definitely book with them again and recommend to family&friends"

"Stayed July 1st thru 8th 2017, Not a good stay! Dirty Room, broken door handle, broken ice machine in fridge in room, Loud noises from construction, elevater broke down, No dead bolt on door, called and no one returns your calls. Slow to No reaction to complaints! WILL NOT STAY HERE OR USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!"
