"The technician was awesome and should get 5 stars but the procedure to get an appointment was horrible, several different people requested the same information, gave them model number and problem at least 4 or 5 times, 8 to 5 appointment was listed at 8PM and I was ready to cancel then got the email from technician about coming around 4 PM, had to give my credit card before I even got an appointment, that technician was promtly on the time he said and fixed the problem in a few minutes. You need to streamline your appointment requests because I sure don't want to go through this again."

"Polite gentlemen. I was told I would get an estimate or report for my repair. I have called and been promised this report immediately. Nothing has been sent which means you essentially did a diagnosis collected the fee and gave me nothing in return,. I would like a diagnosis report or my money back."

"Our refrigerator stopped cooling and we called for repair since this is where we purchased the appliance before they closed their stores. The technician arrived as scheduled and was courteous. He diagnosed as a fan issue. The part was ordered along with the icemaker that had been broken less than 2 years after we purchased. We were told it would be 6-7 days before the parts arrived. 4 days later we received the fan part, but only an email notification that the icemaker was backordered. Cut to 4 weeks of waiting for a backordered part that never arrived. The second trip for repair was cancelled by the Sears automated system because it knows we had not received the part. I had to plead with the overseas customer service person to send someone to fix. The end of that week the second technician, also courteous, came and said the diagnosis was incorrect and the motherboard was fried, so we had to buy a new refrigerator after all. We were told we would be refunded everything except for the $99 initial service fee. That was 4 weeks ago. After the first 3 weeks of waiting I called customer service and they informed me that I was supposed to initiate the refund request, but they did that for me and was told I would be contacted within 72 hours. No contact. Today I call and they said it takes 14 days for the refund to take place. I'm sure I'll be calling them again next week when the refund doesn't come. Zero stars. Good luck getting hold of someone on the phone."

"David called to provide his estimated arrival window. He arrived in the earlier part of the scheduled window which was a plus for me. He was professionally dressed, neat appearance and had all of the tools to complete both scheduled jobs. My washer needed all four suspensions replaced and the dryer was a routine maintenance. He worked effectively and efficiently and just like that both jobs were completed. Just as neatly as he rolled in he neatly rolled out leaving my laundry room tidy. He thanked me for being a valued Sears customer and was off. Thank you David! Thanks Sears! P.S. - I purchased the 5yr. plan at the time of purchase (Kenmore Washer & Dryer) before the closing of Searstown in Fort Lauderdale, FL. It was totally worth it."

"I needed a GE repair person for my dishwasher which didn’t start. I researched problems on the internet and YouTube and had a good handle on the problem, but just couldn’t fix it. Hired Sears for a $99 diagnostic fee. Ripped off! They outsourced to A&E Factory Service. Nice gentleman came, listened to me, pressed the start button and my panel lit up. I said now press it again to start the dishwasher, and I pressed it to show him. He said he knew the problem and seen this before, and it’s the dishwasher’s computer, that would cost $580. I told him I can buy a new dishwasher for that money. He then proceeded to try to sell me a Sears contract for $720/year. He only touched the start button. He took me for an idiot. I gave him my payment of $99 and stewed. I got back on YouTube and by the second video, I pressed the cycle button at the same time as the start button, and miraculously, the dishwasher started. I can’t even reach this company to complain. Steer far away!!!!"
