"We went to their sales presentation. The price offered was 12K and then an annual fee. Any reasonable consumer would do some research before such a purchase and I communicated that I would consider a purchase after doing some research. The representative said that the price would increase and after that day and I should not consider purchasing it for two years if I did not buy it that day. This was a high pressure tactic to get us to purchase. I have no problem with the company policy that allows them to inform customers they have a policy that makes it beneficial to buy immediately. The representative then said Florida Law barred them from selling at a lower price for two years. I am a law professor and asked for the Florida Statute that he was referring to. He did not know. He only said the company told him about the law. I believe this was a lie. By all means, time shares and vacation clubs can do all the high pressure sales they wish and that is not my complaint. My complaint is being dishonest. Should they provide the statute that Florida bans them from selling the product at the price they offered for 2 years, I will withdraw the complaint."
