"BUYER BEWARE. If I could give this company zero stars I would. They are in business to take advantage of vulnerable people. I'm planning to report this company to the Chamber or Commerce, the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and post our experience with them on every local social media site I'm on. They don't have a website, and the address they list for their office is actually Lee County Utilities Pinewood Ro Plant (I physically went to the address). They scammed my 86 year-old father into paying $2,550 for a spring replacement and new opener. Then they told him if he wanted the external keypad for the opener, he'd have to pay another $250. When I found out what had happened to my father, I called the company from 2 different phone numbers to ask for estimates. They immediately ask for your address in order to give you a quote, then say the technician must come out to your home to give the estimate. I said I wanted quotes over the phone because I was calling other companies to compare estimates. Two different technicians called me (at the separate numbers I had called from) and with some pushing (they said they had to come to the house to give quotes) gave me ranges for pricing. The 1st technican (named Ben) said labor for the spring was $175 and the spring itself was $50 - 180. The 2nd technician (named Gal) said labor for the spring was $175, and the spring itself was $100 - 700, depending size and quality. When pushed further, Gal said the for majority his installs, the physical spring costs $300-400. For the opener, the 1st technician (Ben) quoted $345 - 940 for unit + labor. The 2nd technician (Gal) quoted $175 install and Chamberlain units for $475 (chain) and $575 (belt). After I spoke with both technicians, a Supervisor (also named Ben), called to ask if I wanted them to come to the house and quoted $175 spring install and the physical spring was between $69 - 179. He also said that most likely the opener wasn't broken, but was not responding because of the broken spring/heavy door. THEY CHARGED MY 86 YEAR-OLD FATHER: Service call $29 + Labor $375 + Spring $1,530 + Chamberlain opener $615.25, FOR A TOTAL BILL OF $2549.35. This pricing was well beyond the quoted pricing I received over the phone. On top of this, they told my father if he wanted an external keypad for the opener, he would have to pay another $250!!! They forged my father's initials on the work order agreement. Technician Ben's minimum and maximum quotes were $589 and $1,134, technician Gal's min and max quotes were $944 and $1,469, and supervisor Ben's min and max quotes were $263 and 373, assuming the opener wasn't broken. Given this, I drove to the business office listed on Google (11950 Corkscrew Rd, Estero, FL 33928) only to find that they don't have an office - the google listing is fraud and the building has a sign that says Lee County Utilities Pinewoods Ro Plant. I called the number listed on Google and told them I was at the address to discuss my quote, and they said they don't have an office right now, everything is remote. Do not do business with this company - they are out to scam you and steal your money."
"I saw a review below that mirrors my experience. I asked for a quote, they did come promptly. However, he gave me a quote for $975 to replace a spring. I told him that was too high and after several calls to his "boss" he dropped to $700. He told me I could not get a better price so I checked while he was getting set up. I got two more quotes right away with 1 being $325 and another $450, so I told him to stop and offered to pay him $100 for his time or $500 to complete the job as he stated. This was still more than the others but I was being respectful of his travel. He opted to complete it for $500. This company has a quick response to try to get you to accept a high quote, and then pressure you. I lost my trust honestly and hope the work holds. Spring replacement should not be over $450 for those looking. Do not let them get over on you. If they do it on a spring repair, they will do it on anything else."
"Told 2 torsion springs would be $1,600 EACH (2 = $3,200)! I looked and told the guy it says for a "pair". After a quick Google search, even $1,600 is 4 times more than ANYONE charges for springs! I asked the guy to leave as they are trying to take advantage of people. Do NOT recommend!"
"Our garage door opener broke so we had it repaired by this company and then installed. The company that installed our garage door was great! They were very courteous, efficient, and overall did a great job of installing the opener. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their garage door fixed or installed."
"We called this company to handle our garage door repair. The technician was very nice and courteous. He was also quick, efficient, and gave us a fair price for his services. We're happy with the outcome of the job so we'll definitely be using this company for any future garage door repairs!"
