"I am updating my review now that I have purchased the boat that was at the marina. Because we had already scheduled a trailer to move the boat, we were on a tight schedule. Then, the survey and sea trial raised some significant issues which the seller generously agreed to address. The marina had very little time to do some major work. Not only did they complete the work within our timeframe, they were able to do some additional work for us that we had wanted done. The boat is on the road now and on its way to us. I highly recommend RFYC and would keep my boat here off season if I lived in Florida. I was scheduled to look at a boat at the marina with my broker. He was not able to join me, and there was no one to show the boat. The staff at the marina went above and beyond, and, with the permission of the owner, let me spend all the time I needed on the boat and provided much useful information. It is an impressive facility."
"This is a first class marina and service facility, as well as an excellent hurricane protection facility. We had a last minute change in plans due to a health issue and ended up keeping our boat there for several months. They were extremely accommodating and worked with us to complete some necessary maintenance. The service was outstanding and when we arrived to retrieve our boat the staff did an excellent job of ensuring our boat was clean and ready to go. Would highly recommend River Forest when transiting between Stuart and Ft Myers, FL."
