"This "company" doesn't even deserve to be a company. This is going to be a long review so be warned now. I contact whirlpool to have our fridge serviced as we were having issues. Whirlpool works through this, somehow licensed and certified, company for their service calls. Whirlpool customer service was really rockstar and helped me get everything setup, but unfortunately it goes downhill fast after that. Our first service call, was unique. Alejandro, technician #43, came in looked at the fridge dropped the f bomb a couple of times and didn't even look at the back of the fridge until I guided him there. Once we were there he determined this was a sealed system issue and it was covered under warranty. He couldn't fix the fridge the same day so we scheduled another appointment. Appointment 2 started with him changing his mind that it was no longer a sealed systems issue and that it would now cost me $420 to replace the wiring harness on my fridge. Yet again nothing was done to my fridge and yet again we had to reschedule. This time I had to unplug my fridge and defrost it a second time for 48 hours. Appointment 3 starts off with Alejandro rummaging through his truck for about 20 minutes. Instead of coming to my front door he decides to just call me. He told me that he didn't have the part needed to perform the service call and that he would have to reschedule. I told my wife what had happened and so she got on the phone with him. Alejandro proceeded to be extremely unprofessional and told her that he would not be doing things her way and then just hung up on her. I've never seen such unprofessionalism from a company. If all of their techs are like this then they don't even deserve to be a company. I've contacted whirlpool since and told them of this experience, and was reassured that this was not the first complaint they've received about Flamingo, and that action would be taken. My fridge still isn't fixed, but I'd rather that be the case than have this company do ANY work on it."
"I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by Flamingo Appliance Service Inc. I purchased a new refrigerator that came with a condensing problem. Whirlpool, the manufacturer, sent Flamingo Appliance Service Inc. to address the issue. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Firstly, the technician who came to my home displayed a complete lack of competence and professionalism. On both occasions, I had to take time off work to accommodate their visits, only to have the technician accomplish nothing. He seemed clueless about what he was doing and failed to address the issue effectively. Furthermore, despite being informed of the need to replace a specific part, the technician failed to document the necessary information or order the replacement part during the initial visit. This oversight has resulted in unnecessary delays and inconveniences. I am currently on the phone with Whirlpool, who explained that they need to determine the status of the fridge. My question is: Couldn't the technician have determined that during the first visit? To add insult to injury, during the second visit, the technician informed me that they had only just placed the order for the required part, indicating a complete lack of urgency and disregard for customer satisfaction. Overall, my experience with Flamingo Appliance Service Inc. has been nothing short of a disaster. They have wasted my time, caused unnecessary stress, and displayed a shocking level of incompetence. I strongly advise against using their services, as they will only end up wasting your time, money, and patience."
"I highly recommend Flamingo appliance repair. They were able to schedule my repair quickly and followed up via email and text regarding the appointment. The technician, David, was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He answered all my questions and was able to fix my washing machine."
"My first appointment with this company was 1-4. They showed at 4:15 and spent 45 min diagnosing the problem with refrigerator as a blocked evaporator line. Left at 5 pm to return another day to repair. Said they needed two hours. Again, given afternoon appointment and tech arrived after 4. Worked for one hour, was unable to fix the issue and said another appt would be needed, this time 3 hours so I requested a morning appt. Waited another ten days and was again given 1-4 slot. Both tech and customer service said they have no control over times assigned. I would actually have to keep requesting service until I hit the morning slot. Unbelievable! Have paid $149 labor charge for nothing. I will not use this company again. They are totally unaware of what customer service means. Steer clear and don’t let the “factory authorized” fool you. There are plenty of other well qualified, customer oriented companies qualified to repair Whirlpool/Kitchen-aid appliances"
"Rude. Not dependable. Not knowledgeable. Poor communication. Supervisors worthless like their employees. I called the number on the appliances to register them next. Domestic and General. Registered my products and purchased protection with them through them. From there Flamingo Appliance Service got involved to come out to service. For my brand new fridge. Flamingo called 15 minutes prior to arrival on December 1st. I went home immediately as I was around the corner expecting this appointment. About 30 minutes later – Nolan – from Flamingo was not there. I called and asked if he was lost. He told me he was at an address that I did not provide for delivery, registry or service. I was very upset as I was on my break, and it is close to the holidays as a single mother at that. I asked him if he would be able to service another home and come to mine later that day. He explained he lived slightly further south and was unwilling to back track as it would be inconvenient for him. So, I called my boss for an extended – off the clock – lunch break. Nolan arrived about 15 minutes later while I was on the phone with D&G – confirmed they had proper information, and they did. I spoke with Natasha – per request - from D&G again (who truly has been the only one who has tried to help me with this process and told her what happened) she connected me with Flamingo. I explained to the woman what happened, I asked how he was sent to the wrong address, and she said, “Well I don’t know.” I also explained how the service man treated me. She said OKAY and was typing her notes in silence. I spoke, explained again and she told me it was noted. I asked if there was anything else she could say or do and she said, “Well it is noted, and the address is corrected now.” I said, “great thanks for the help” and hung up and went back to dealing with the gentleman from Flamingo. He fixed 5 gaskets on the oven opening and fixed the condensation issues from the freezer drawer to fridge door. I asked about the water leaking from the ice and water openings – he told me there was “nothing he could do” and “that is just the way these refrigerators are made and that is what happens.” I looked at him in silence as I could not believe that was his response. I had a Whirlpool fridge at my previous home and never had issues. All my other appliances were Samsung and I hated them so this time I decided to go with all Whirlpool. I then said, “So you are telling me that (pointed) is going to continue to leak, and I am out of luck?” He smirked at me and shrugged his shoulders. He left. I called D&G back. Natasha tried calling with me, twice, but we had no luck. Literally silence on the other end and we decided it had been two hours at the point and we called it a day at that point and started again the following Monday. They have since canceled on me two more times (one I was off work for the day to deal with this appt) and when I tried calling back they were unresponsive again. Also, the issue Nolan claimed to fix on the freezer drawer area with a lot of condensation is significantly WORSE. Would never recommend this company. Save yourself the pain, time and money and go elsewhere. This is not right or fair in the slightest. This is an expensive product that I have been waiting and excited to purchase for my personal home for my six year old daughter and I."
