"Truly don’t understand how they have such a high rating. My landlord uses this company and there are many issues. 1. They have been out to our home I believe 7 times in the past 1.5 years. Each time for the same issue. Never once has a technician shown up briefed on the routine issue and I have to explain to them what the issue is and how to fix it. You’d think Comfort Authority would have files with this information that the technicians can access. The techs have always been friendly and get the job done, I want to be clear I feel this is an issue with company policies, and upper management. 2. They never once have suggested a true fix for this repetitive issue, but rather just continue to band aid the problem which lasts about 2-3 months. I assume they are happy to keep billing the landlord for multiple visits every year than suggesting a good resolution for the issue. 3. They text you when a tech is “on the way” but it’s usually about 30-60 minutes until they show up and they never provide an eta. They then sit in the car for about 10-20 minutes both before coming to knock and before leaving the property after they have finished work. I can only imagine how inefficient their processes are overall. You need to be waiting/staying at home for roughly 2 hours for an issue that takes 5 minutes to band aid. 4. Don’t wear boot covers, or have any protective solutions for ladders/tools on hardwood floors."
