I had used them in the past and were good. Been using them for servicing my systems for 8+ years. Recently had them replace my second system. The installers didn't reinstall my closet door correctly (was mis-aligned) and there was some damage to the drywall around the thermostat. I told the company about it the next day. they said they would have the installer call me. 6 months and probably a dozen emails later asking for updates, no call. Now they won't even email me back. They used to be good. Apparently not anymore."

"I bought my system from Velocity 5 years ago. Paid for Goodman, got GMAC installed. They blamed the salesman... I know the company is clear that what was on the sales ticket was different than what was delivered. That is on Velocity's owners/managers either ignoring or not paying attention to bad business practices. To their credit, the did come do excellent service on the units for a couple of years. They also sold me new serge protetion or whatever, but I felt they were paying attention. They did also look to sell me high dollar air treatment units -- I opted to replace the bulbs in the UV lights they sold me originally. Apparently that didn't do the job on keeping mold at bay. The tech told me they fired all their salesmen. No they didn't, the techs are the salesmen now. And it's not clear that the service was much more than a sales pitch for work that I don't trust will be done right - and new UV treatment that seems overpriced. Here is what burns me most... they sold me units I now know have coils that aren't made to repel mold anymore. Did I know anything about the downgrade of units being solid then? No, they just wanted the margin, and delivered even worse than what I paid for. The guy asked me not to post a negative review because it will hurt the current staff for what guys did five years ago. No -- I'm posting it because the owners need to be held to account for what they WERE allowing to happen. Now we consumers are having to deal with the fallout of their bad business years ago."
