"I unfortunately had poor service from Gulf Coast Mechanical over the past 3 years. My a/c was originally not installed properly by the technician from Gulf Coast. Within 4 months another Gulf Coast technician had to come and completely rewire the air handler. Gulf Coast cannot provide dates/times for servicing appointments even with 1 week of notice - it has always been a run-around scheduling service calls with the owner Jay."

"I have used this company for A/C repairs and maintenance at least 4 times. The last two times, customer service is horrible. They are unreliable and will reschedule you whenever they want and NOT notify you of being rescheduled. I had to call the main representative several times a day to remind her and to inquire about when will a service technician come out to my home. There has been a time where I was provided with a scheduled time, and the service technician did NOT SHOW... and there has been a time, that I was advised that the "schedule" has not been out and that I would get a call by the end of the day with a scheduled time. NO CALL was made and when I did call, I was notified that the scheduled time of the service technician has been RESCHEDULED for the following morning.. no specific time was given. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR SCHEDULING, UNRELIABLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

"Awesome company. Ac and water heater installation doneat my house. They actually work for a company I work for as well. Everyone said my unit was too old to fix. Jay said "that is BS" He sent a tech out for repair at a very reasonable price. They weren't out to sell me a new expensive unit. I have recommended them to my friends and co workers. I saw a one star review from a month ago. The company responded with "we dropped the ball". I have much respect for a company that can admit their mistakes and take ownership. Not many do. They are human so mistakes will happen. Much respect for you guys admitting and taking ownership! This is definitely my go to company for ac or any other repairs they do! Highly recommend. For the record I RARELY write reviews!"

"We had Gulf Mechanical service our air on 6/24/2020. On that service, they were great. On 7/22, our air conditioner was leaking water and our carpet was soaked. We called Gulf Mechanic after 3 calls back and forth, the lady answering said Jay would call us back. Jay called later and we explained the issue. His reply "Don't worry, we will cover the cost and take care of it." He said someone would call us the next morning to tell us what time they would be coming. We never heard from them, so I called at 10:48 am. The lady answering said that Jay never told her about scheduling us so she was going to call him and see and call us back. At 11:52 am, not hearing back from her, I call again. "Oh, he's not answering his phone, I will call him again and call you back". At 12:14 pm, she calls back and says someone will be there between 3-5 today. I asked her "are you sure someone will be here...I don't want to be in a situation where you don't show up..and we are stuck another night in this situation." She assured me someone would come....at 5:23 pm, after NO ONE CALLS or COMES, I call back...of course it's an answering machine...I left a message stating the time and that I haven't seen or heard from anyone....It is now Saturday 7/25 and not a phone call apologizing or anything. I feel like they didn't want to follow up on something they should have fixed a month ago. Funny thing is, we never said anything about it possibly being their fault. Avoid this company."
