"Just dropped off my 3rd boat for Chris a d the team to rebuild. Can't wait to see what they do with this one. He always goes above and beyond."
"Coast ll Coast Marine has a great group of guys, they do amazing work in a timely manner, and I would highly recommend them for any of your boating needs!"
"I debated whether or not to write this review, but I'm still bothered by the work that was done on my boat I felt it was right to warn others. C2C was recommended to me to get my fuel tank changed, which was leaking gasoline into my bilge. I brought my boat to them in mid-June and it was supposed to be a 10 week or so repair. I had only been able to get in contact with the shop twice when I called to check the status of my boat. Each time I spoke to someone they were busy doing something else, told me the boat was either 'in rigging' or 'being prepped' and would check to get an accurate update and call me back. I never received any calls back. That was around weeks 4 and 6. After I never received a call back at week 6, I drove over there (45 mins each way) at week 9 (boat should be done week 10) and the boat was still sitting outside and had not been touched at all. I asked Chris what was going on with my boat and he said the new tank would take 6 weeks "what has it been, 5?" I had to remind him it had been 9 weeks so he could check the status of the new tank. When I came to pick the boat up, work was performed without my consent (I had bought t-top lights to install when I got the boat back, but they did it on their own without contacting me). Under gunnel lights I asked them to look into a let me know my options, they installed lights that only light up blue and told me "well the only options are either blue or red". My entire boat is red.... I don't know why they would not call me to ask my preference. The plan all along for the fuel tank was to lift the t-top and console as my McKee Freedom 28 is made specifically so that you do NOT need to cut the floor to remove the tank. We discussed this when I dropped it off, but they decided (I guess easier option) would be to cut the floor instead and never consulted me on this. The bilge and console were full of dust and fiberglass, to the point that the bilge was full of rain water up to the bilge pumps because it couldn't drain out of the drain whole. I removed chunks of fiberglass out of the bilge myself and even now I am still dealing with trying to remove a few stains on the boat (one is a black line that looks like the tar epoxy from the tank where it was coated and another I do not know what it is but bleach, rust remover, magic eraser, etc. does not help). I receive better communication from other shops for much, MUCH, smaller jobs. If you decide to take your boat here you need to be on top of them 100%. It felt like at going from week 9 with nothing done to finally picking the boat up around 13.5 weeks, that they just threw what parts they had around on the boat so they could add it onto the invoice. At that point I just wanted the boat back as it was already almost a month later than expected. The good is, they did fix the gas tank, a livewell leak that I struggled with, and repaired some other minor things I asked them to."
"Chris and his crew are extremely customer oriented and responsive. No request is too big or too small. They have the ability to take care of all of your boats needs. So nice to find a place in Florida that actually does what they say they are going to do and then follows through with tenacity. Thanks for the help with the repair work and new boat set up!"
"Great team that does quality work!"
