"Do not use Affordable Appliance Repair of Inverness, especially any single women out there. They tried to scam an older female friend of mine with a bogus repair. They (husband & wife?) tried to convince her that her refrigerator’s condensation tray was cracked, causing the water leakage on her floor. How can a condensation tray that is filled to overflowing be cracked? Come on. They didn’t even look at the tray before deciding it was cracked (A several hundred-dollar replacement cost). When I tried to inform him of this, he immediately copped an arrogant and condescending attitude before I could even explain the problem. Then he hung up on me, no good businessperson ever does that (no foul language was used). As it turns out that all it was, was a missing seal on the new water filter she installed two days before. I would not call myself an “Appliance Repair Man,” if I couldn’t find a leaking water filter."

"Found our refrigerator/freezer warm this morning, called Affordable Appliance Repair after all other options were exhausted. They were cordial and knowledgeable on the phone, said a technician could come out in an hour. Indeed, he showed up right on time, asked for symptoms, diagnosed and repaired in less than a half hour. Amazingly good experience, I highly recommend."

"Have had this company fix two appliances in the last 6 months and they have been great - came over in one day notice both times - fixed both appliances perfectly - prompt, know their stuff, and very reasonably priced. Yes, as stated in other reviews, the repairman is kind of a quiet and businesslike guy, but i didn't call him to entertain me, just to know the product and how to fix it, and he does. "Called them on a Friday morning for a washer repair. They were here within an hour. Service man was friendly, fixed my washer and gave me helpful advice to keep it running effeciently. Total repair was $106, its an easier pill to swallow than $500 for a new washer. Great service, this is the 2nd appliance they have repaired. Reasonable prices and great, quick service!"

"I will never recommend this business to anyone. I had a not so over friendly man come look at my washer as it would not change cycles. I was told it would cost anywhere from $150-$160 to fix the problem come to find out there really wasn't anything wrong with the washer to begin with. All it needed was someone to really do a SERVICE call and check the hoses to see there was a clog that was causing the water to trickle into the washer. I have a well and the screen going into the washer was clogged with sediment and needed to be cleaned. I then called to explain I didn't need the part and the technician proceeded to belittle me and tell me those screens aren't meant to be cleaned and I asked how will my washer fill if it can't pass through he then proceeded to belittle me and tell me I was going to flood my house. I called someone else for another opinion and was told it most definitely needs to be clean and clear or it will throw an error code. I cleaned the screen and my washer works perfectly. Last I checked customers pay your salaries and keep your business running had you not been so rude I wouldn't of cared about the $39.00 paid for the service charge but I will not give my money to people who are inconsiderate and rude."
