"I lived here back in 1991 to 1992. The Place was very quiet during the day and night time. I had one friend that lived a few doors down. Never had a problem With Management. When we first moved in they put us on a ground floor but 2 months later gave us an upstairs apartment. Never had a problem with any bugs. Hated moving but came back home near family in Tennessee"
"This place was terrible you can’t hang and picture up because the walls are full of concrete then you have frogs outside everywhere everything is dirty the maintenance team doesn’t clean or fix anything insides noo matter what yu doo! Yu can’t get ride of roaches I had frogs lizards and everything else crawl in my house because nothing is sealed up living here brought me depression! All of the weirdo neighbors! And and the filthy environment I hated it so don’t see it lasting they don’t noo what they are doing and don’t noo how to handle people"
"We lived here from 2-2020 to 8-2021. It was a quick fix to being homeless, so we were grateful, at first, and it was SUPER quiet! We loved how quiet it was, until 5 months into the lease, we began hearing noises above us where I didn't think anyone lived there. Not long after that, we began finding foreign objects that didn't belong to us in the apartment, or things came up missing without us having any visitors. When I requested from Manny - the previous owner - for a lock change, since my daughter had seen someone, unidentified, unlock the door, open it momentarily, then close it, without locking it, he said he'd change it...but never did, instead, security footage was docked, as time was missing from it during the time the door was opened and closed; without any clear explanation for it; which led us to believe he was concealing something, and instead made my daughter out to be lying, who was scared to live there and moved out early as a result. We had endless noise harassments beginning slowly and quietly at the 5 months mark, from our upstairs neighbors, and it ended up becoming massively insane even up to 3AM with scraping a metal object all over their floor at all hours day and night, dropping metal balls, or slamming what sounded like a bowling ball in the middle of the night, knocking, and tapping above us. I had had it all recorded, but accidentally ran over my phone, destroying it. I'd love if those records could be pulled, since those same neighbors turned everything they did onto us, while living on the bottom floor! How exactly? (..and we are now exeriencing a repeat of it from our new neighbors starting 3 months ago, almost like they taught them...)From Manny to the new owners, there was no resolve, ever. The neighbor next door to us, was also doing the same things with noises, after she lied to property management, that was - "Manny", making false claims about me harassing her in an attempt to get us kicked out, shortly after she moved in. I only knew of her attempt, because he told me. Otherwise, I had never spoken to her, not even after that, beyond a few peaceful words to try to resolve the issue, ineffectively. It was Roach infested...not a roach problem, but INFESTED. Strange cars would park behind the building that didn't belong there. Quietness was subject to neighbors since everything can be heard from outside w/the ac off, and others can hear inside if they're by the windows pretty clearly if they're listening, which our upstairs neighbors would spy by our windows as I would come home from work and find them hurrying upstairs from our back windows, or the front ones. I don't like involving police, if I can handle it myself, however, I had no idea it would eventually escalate to what it did, resulting to my many neighbor complaints to management and a couple to law enforceent, all being ignored and my kids and I ending up homeless by the new management because they were being gaslighted and manipulated without ever discussing any issues about us with me. In desperation, I would put up notes for the neighbors telling them to stop throwing metal objects onto their floor day and night...but the police didn't take the time to read it, and claimed I was leaving wierd "love" notes of some sort for the neighbor since he was claiming I was harassing him - despite PLAIN evidence on the contrary on one note in particular they had called them out to have me take down...if Palm Springs Police had just read the friggen thing it would've been clear what it actually said; since confronting those neighbors numerous times did nothing but give them ammunition to use to manipulate with. The woman even approached my mechanic to attempt to get him involved in all their drama, and he and I had to tell the her to leave us alone. It's not hard to leave people alone. But these ones would NOT. We had laundry stolen from the machines & had to use public ones. One thing I can say, is property management didn't keep our deposit and gave it all back but $25. Never again would I live there."
"I've been living at The Floridian for a year and a half. The previous owner/property manager Manny was amazing. He helped me with an incident involving my car. If I requested maintenance he sent someone asap. Great communication and professional. Unfortunately the property has been sold to Cruise Property Management. The new owner is horrible. I've contacted him multiple times for issues with my apartment and he made me feel like I was a low life that wasn't paying their rent on time EVERY MONTH! At one point my apartment was getting flooded every month. I explained the situation to him many times but he chose to criticize me, belittle the situation and make false assumptions about me and how I keep up with my apartment. The maintenance guys do what they can do and I respect them for trying their best. The owner on the other hand is worthless, unprofessional and careless. I have documented conversations and recorded every call and the way this man spoke to me is atrocious. The property, I have no problem with but the new owner gotta go!"
"These apartments are very nice and well kept. I was onsite manager of these back in 1994-1995 when they were called Topper House Apartments. Loved the owners and the area. I wish I had stayed instead of moving back to Kentucky. Live and learn. The apartments are roomy one bedroom one bath with front and back parking and entrance. Very convenient to everything."
