"I applied for a position there.. totally enjoyed the interview and the process has been very quick and seamless so far to start this new wonderful opportunitty."
"Best Job I have ever had! So grateful for my work family!"
"I've lived at Philip Benjamin Tower for 8 years now. The grounds and building were beautiful back when I first moved in. They had just undergone a renovation to the public areas on the first floor and it was beautiful! The yard areas were beautiful, especially the yard in 58th Street. The landscaping was gorgeous. Since that time, everything has been going downhill. The lobby/public area is dirty and constantly I see the large cockroaches in the lobby and in the entryway from the parking lot. The front yard has been neglected. The sprinkler heads in the system have been run over by the commercial lawnmower and have not been repaired, which, in turn, have allowed many of the flowering shrubs to die (azaleas and jasmine vines). The mulch has washed away and needs to be replaced. The grass has worn away in areas and in two of the areas near the entryway to the building have dead small palm trees and there was an area of beautiful flowering succulents that were incorrectly mowed and patchy Augustine grass has moved into that area. Apparently the landscaping company that has been hired have not been given direction to replace dead shrubbery and mulch. The interior of the building... Let me begin with the sofas that replaced the former ones are a light beige. Who thought of that did not use their brain. The beige sofas are filthy because of high usage. The interior windows are filthy as well. We have one housekeeper for this 16 story building! There is no way she can keep up the entire building. The community hall's floor has not been mopped in approximately a year! When the lobby area was remodeled, there was a fireplace installed in one of the dividers in the lobby. One was also installed outside near an door into the Sun Room area. They are not used because the fire department shut them down. The tile on all of the floors have been replaced with laminate wood colored flooring. They used a color that won't show dirt (dark grey) hence, the floors have not been mopped in over a year. It's filthy and the dirt gets tracked into each apartment. Need I say more. They just hired another maintenance man, so now we have 3 men that repair things that become damaged. They definitely could use 1 more man to accomplish more to be done. And I think there should be AT LEAST 3 housekeepers for the size of this building. I will go no further, because I already think this review won't be read because it's too long. And by the way, I have written Carteret multiple times about ongoing problems that need attention from the broken down washers and dryers in the laundry room, to the elevators that breakdown on a regular basis. The photos on the PBT website are ancient, prior to the remodel. I think it was more beautiful then it is now. Oh, also, the amenities that are mentioned in the description of activities and such are inaccurate. There is no longer a beautician that operates the in house salon, the ceramic teacher has passed away and not been replaced and the computers in the library have not been maintained properly. That's all for now..."
"I moved into one of their properties in downtown St Pete 10 months ago. Love the apt , bldg, & location. The staff turnover, including maintenance men quitting or being fired...has made for a stressful past year But, like any business, all it takes is that ONE person that truly cares, & knows what they're doing. They hired a new " Regional Manager" in December & sent DEIRDRE to us recently. She had a packed Clubroom when she called the first Management/Resident meeting. Answered all of our questions & immediately started tackling all our concerns and bldg issues. She's made morale around here rise quickly. DEIRDRE is a GEM, & I thank Carteret for bringing her on board. We're all lucky to have her."
"I live in the Duval Park community and I have nothing but great things to say about the Poperty manager there Rick. Because of Rick I relocated my family to Duval he was very professional with the tour not skipping a beat while still dealing with current tenants who had concerns and work orders, which was a big thing to us, we got to see first hand how much he actually cared about the community. Another big thing that made me sign a lease with Duval was rick being able to relate to me since he's a veteran as well. Rick isnt just a property manager who comes to work and leaves at night, this man lives within the same gates he walks and manages everyday so he sees first hand what we go through and doesn't hesitate to fix what needs to be fixed. There need to be more caring property managers like a Rick."
