"I lived at Alture Westland for a year and I have mixed feelings. Pros: - close to Target, Publix, Walmart, the mall, the highways - clean and modern - maintenance was fast and friendly - pool and lobby are very nice - I always felt safe - Water is included Cons: - Very thin walls!!! I lived at the end of the hall and could hear the elevator open and close - the top floor of the parking garage is only attached to Building A. if you live in Building B and do not want to pay $75 extra a month for covered parking, you will be forced to go all the way through Building A, down to the first floor, across to Building B and up to your apartment. It became a real pain with groceries - packages are delivered to Building A, so if you live in B you will have to lug your packages across the parking lot to your apartment. - AC unit leaks so much that my balcony was constantly flooded (they replaced my AC unit several times but it kept happening) - Fire alarm in parking garage would randomly go off - The SWAT team had a 6 HOUR stand off with a resident and THEY DID NOT UPDATE THE RESIDENTS AT ALL!!! Police and SWAT surrounded the building for HOURS and not a peep from the leasing office. They sent an email around 10 or 11pm saying "Good evening, We would like to thank all of our amazing residents for their patience in dealing with today's events.The building is open, and the Management office will be open tomorrow during regular hours". That was the ONLY email or notice they sent the entire time!!!! Dannis and Lazaro are slow at responding and rarely answer the phone which was frustrating. It is a nice apartment but not worth $1800+ like they tried to raise my rent to."
