"I applied here also when they were having a $70 move-in special. We had to pay for a background/credit check, and it turns out that we were denied because we didn't have "good enough credit." We could still move in but they would not give us the special price, and instead asked for everything upfront. We only applied because of the good move in deal. And not to mention, they couldn't even give us a reason why our credit didn't meet their standards. I would have figured they would provide that information up front BEFORE you apply. The woman who toured the apartments was very misleading and made us believe that even though we had no credit or renters history, we could easily get a place there. We only ended up wasting our time and money applying here. Not to mention, if you are a non smoker, BEWARE. They accept smokers. They will house you in the same building as smokers, and you SHARE YOUR A/C LINES AND SYSTEM WITH THE OTHER UNITS IN YOUR BUILDING. So if your neighbors are lighting up in their apartment, the air system will carry the smoke to your unit. Having a baby, this was very unsettling to me and was enough of a reason for me to look elsewhere. Beautiful apartments, but ripoff and inconsiderate to families for allowing smoking in the buildings."
