"Really nice hotel. We got a room that had two beds. The room was spacious enough for two grown adults. It had all the typical parts of a Marriott hotel. There was an ironing board, an iron, a microwave, coffee maker, and a mini-fridge. There was a lot of parking, we never had to park away from the closest door to our room. Not sure if this is an option, but maybe if there was a way to choose the firmness of the bed. The beds were more on the soft side. The only complaint we had was the air conditioner/heater was really loud. We endured the noise because we were only there for two nights."
"I’ve stayed in Marriott properties all over the US and Europe and this has to be the lowest effort hotel I’ve been in. The breakfast was hard biscuits, water eggs (yes, you required correctly), a turned-off waffle maker, stale muffins, and a bunch of stuff no one wants. Their laundry room takes quarters, but there’s no change machine; the front desk can exchange dollars to quarters, but the ATM a few blocks away only does 20s and they can’t break a $20 for some reason."
"Where to begin?! I called while enroute to confirm that my room would be available upon arrival. I arrived to be told that the elevator wasn't working and my room is on the third floor. What?! Why wasn't I informed of this when I called so I could attempt to find another hotel? ( By the look of the note on the elevator it didn't Just break down.) I told the clerk that wouldn't work as my adult blind disabled son couldn't navigate stairs. I was then told that I could have a room on the 2nd floor. Again, what?! I was informed that there weren't any other rooms available. Important to note that the parking lot was pretty empty. Due to the late hour I just took it. As we were trying to navigate the stairs my son tripped and lost his balance which was very upsetting for him and me both. The elevator being inoperable was completely COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. It never occurred to me to request a first floor reservation because what hotel doesn't have working elevators?! Instead of the clerk offering to check with a local hotel that could accommodate us he just checked us in and wasn't concerned about us at all. He never made eye contact. Once we made it to the room, the air conditioner was super noisy. I went to use the bathroom and was Shocked to find that the DOOR wouldn't close. That's right, wouldn't close. I went to call the front desk and guess what? The phone wasn't attached to anything. Why have a phone sitting on a nightstand that is Completely useless? I called the hotel from my cell phone to discuss the bathroom door and the lack of privacy for using the bathroom and once again the clerk couldn't care less. I had to Ask if any rooms would be available the next day and if we could move and was told we could. Why did I have to ask? The room was super dusty. The ice machine didn't work. The shower took forever to get hot and the faucet was loose. We were awakened by a fire alarm at 8:00 in the morning so no rest for us. Leaving for the day, I saw a housekeeper and said I just needed towels and thanked her and handed her a tip and she immediately handed it to the housekeeping supervisor which surprised me. I asked the supervisor if the housekeeper would be able to keep the tip and she put the money in her pocket and dodged the question. It was super sketchy. Speaking of sketchy an actual drug deal happened in front of me at the Huddle House across the street so if you want to know about location, there ya go. The reason I picked this hotel over many other options was the indoor pool for my other son to enjoy. Surprise!!! It's ice cold and since he isn't a polar bear it was another huge disappointment. Another reason I chose this hotel over others was that I actually trusted the name Marriott. Big mistake apparently. I did call corporate and the elevator was fixed the next day but maybe it was already scheduled? Even the phone call was painful as the agent sounded annoyed and then I was put on hold for 17 minutes. When she came back she said the property manager would be in contact with me and I would receive an email. Neither happened. Unless the man in the hallway who said the elevator is fixed was him? At least the elevator repair technicians were super friendly. Maybe Marriott could provide additional customer service training because this was the worst hotel experience ever. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere."
"Front desk staff was great! Jay was amazing and so was the lady working Thanksgiving evening. Both were super helpful and curteous. however, Housekeeping was non-existent! We requested service each night after we checked in on Tue. We received zero room cleaning/service from housekeeping for our entire stay. Thanks to front desk staff we did receive towels. Staying Thanksgiving week, it could be expected not to receive room cleaning on Thanksgiving, but NONE the entire stay was very disappointing."
"Manager was horrible! I tried to check out in the evening for a long trip ahead of me with three kids and he decided to train one of his staff on my transaction to check out. Brent kept insisting that the transaction was required and that I had to stick around for it. He wasn’t rude but definitely inconsiderate and unfriendly. 15 minutes after his training session I was able to depart!! Ridiculous and I won’t be back."
