"Econo lodge denied me my reservation for my service dog. They made up some bogus service dog "ID card" requirement and refused when I wasn't able to provide this. There are plenty of scam businesses that sell these fake ID cards and when fake handlers present them it makes it difficult for real service dog team to gain their public access rights. I attempted to show ADA letter written to another hotel in attempt to educate him on legal requirements which prohibit businesses from denying service dogs access to business open to public."

"It was absolutely disgusting in there. I’m almost 100% sure there was feces on the wall. There was a roach in the bathroom and half the lights didn’t work. There were endless stains and rips in the blankets, pillows, and couches. The bathroom door looked like someone tried to rip it apart with their teeth. We asked for a new room and the front desk attendant scoffed at us and denied any kind of service or accommodation. Do NOT stay here, unless it’s some kind of desperate last resort. I wish I took pictures to add to this review but honestly no one deserves to have their eyes assaulted by that horrendous mess of a motel"

"NEGATIVES: ***Housekeeper, Nita will wait for you to check out hanging outside your door and then complain to you that you left trash in the room. Let's get this straight. No dumpster visible and my trash was double bagged in black bags, She said you should leave outside your door. Working in the hotel business we don't do this as it's unprofessional and disgusting. I vacuumed, and stripped the beds while putting the towels in the sink. She is a disgrace and should go back to her country where she can run her mouth like that to polite respectful guests. Here in the States we don't put up with that trash talk. Find another job idiot! Choice Brand should start holding these Patel derelicts responsible for hotel standards and customer service. This hotel is garbage just like the housekeeper. If you read the reviews about this filth we can all agree it's time to fire your lazy housekeeper.*** Bad Cheap Beds - kill your back. Rooms.dirty. No Breakfast. Vending Machines Empty. No Do Not Disturb Signs Available. Ice Machine Empty. Clutter Equipment all around the property. No Laundry. Dirty Towels. Spots on all. Smelly Unwashed Pillows. Brong Yours. Chlorinated Water - An Enterprise Issue. No Blankets - Just a Sheet and Decor Top Sheet. Property Areas Look Demoed. Clutter Inside. POSITIVES: Quiet. Clean Landscape. Close to Gym and Shopping. Good Location. Large Room. Good TV Channels. Nice Decor in Room. Bright Parking Lot and Rooms. Fridge and Microwave in Room Friendly Desk Staff, Bob and Prince do a wonderful job. Daily Housekeeping Friendly. Night Stand at Door. Cameras on Property. Couch in Room."

"The check in was easy. Check out person couldn't operate the computer. Walls and tub were dirty. No coffee pot in room. Chair was ripped."

"Evacuated from hurricane Idalia. Booked reservation through Choice Hotels. Room was filthy on arrival, I mean "aged" filth! Toilet was not clean! No blankets! No phones, or contact information for local businesses, or anything else. Ceilings are stained, and coming apart at the seams. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Well, there was one that had plug in and receptacle wires hanging down. It wasn't plugged in. Tub covered with cigarette burns. Looked like blood on one of the electric receptacles. Made me wonder about the red stain that was soaked deep into the wood, so it couldn't be wiped away. No microwave. No blankets! 3 half sized pillows for 2 people. Walls filthy, and had numerous patch jobs. Not sanded, or painted. No fire alarms. Needs more lighting. Just for missing bulbs though. Peep hole was messed up, so you couldn't see through your door. Windows in poor condition, and the curtains were filthy. Couch was filthy. If it wasn't for the mass evacuation, and the shortage of available rooms, anywhere, I would have passed on this place. I would not recommend it to anyone."
