Whimsical fountain-sculptures outside the windows complement an astonishing collection of fossils, native-American artwork, and assorted "stuff" that adorns the walls, shelves, and every available surface. It's as much an art museum as it is a dental office, and with the added classic rock soundtrack, there's plenty to distinguish this "Coconut Grovey" office from a traditional, boring dental practice. Dentistry is a highly technical profession and part of that involves precision work done by hand. Dr. Parr goes about his work with patience, craftsmanship, and humor. He takes time to explain what he's doing and always enjoys answering my nerdy questions about materials and techniques. And I'm a needle-phobic patient. Dr. Parr has a careful touch that comes as close to painless as possible. Maria does an excellent and thorough job as hygienist, and Dr. Parr's assistants—along with the rest of the team—are always upbeat, helpful, and comfortable to engage with."
