"Made appointment, confirmed insurance and received 4-5 calls confirming appt, insurance, and being asked to come in early for a cancellation (so far so good)… After showing up, they confirmed my address and proceed to tell me I owed $90 from over 3 years ago. I asked why I was never billed, and they said we sent a notification (3 years ago). Why didn’t you send me a bill in the past 3-years, I asked? I always pay my bills. They said not their problem, computer shows I owe $90 so no teeth cleaning / X-rays until paid. I find it incredulous that only b/c I made an appointment do they try to come after me for a 3-year old bill that I was never made aware of (certainly haven’t been billed in 3+ years!). And after 4-5 phone calls to confirm insurance, et al, they wait until I show up in-person to say, we forgot to tell you about 3 years ago. I left out of principle. This is poor business. I wonder if they understand the concept of customer acquisition costs and lifetime customer revenue…will take my business elsewhere."
